LONDON – Tony Romo was officially listed as limited in Thursday’s practice at Allianz Park, but his Dallas Cowboys teammates were glad to see him.

“It was good to see him back out there,” running back DeMarco Murray said. “I thought he did well today.”

Murray said Romo moved around “just like he always does.” Romo admitted to some soreness but believed his injured back loosened up during practice. While owner and general manager Jerry Jones said he expects Romo to play Sunday against Jacksonville, the Cowboys want to see how Romo's back responds to practice and see what he can do Friday.

“It’s like he never left,” wide receiver Dez Bryant said. “We had a great day of practice. It was real good. And we’re just going to move forward and see what happens Sunday.”

It wasn’t so much what Romo could or could not do in practice that helped.

“It always helps whenever Tony is out there,” Bryant said. “He’s our guy. He’s our leader. Whenever he’s out there, it makes everybody feel that much more comfortable and he knows how to lead us in the right direction and that’s what he’s going to do Sunday.”

If Romo plays, it looks like he will have two starters back on the offensive line. Right tackle Doug Free, who has missed the last three games with a foot injury, and left guard Ronald Leary, who did not play last Sunday because of a groin strain, took part in a full practice after being limited on Wednesday.

Linebacker Anthony Hitchens (chest) took part in a full practice after he was knocked out early on Wednesday. Bruce Carter (finger), Barry Church (shoulder), James Hanna (hamstring), Jermey Parnell (chest) and Anthony Spencer (foot, knee) were also full participants.

Defensive tackle Tyrone Crawford (knee) did not practice and is unlikely to play Sunday. Linebacker Rolando McClain (groin, knee) did not practice for the second straight day and neither did defensive tackle Nick Hayden (shoulder), but Hayden should play Sunday. The Cowboys hope McClain can practice on Friday and play Sunday.
