Working from home is an awesome perk (that could make you feel $40,000 happier), but what if you want a telecommuting job that also pays well? Some job titles are more flexible than others, as are some industries, like IT and sales.
The list comes from Payscale, which looked at the job titles of people who responded to the question of whether they're able to telecommute or work from home and then ranked them in terms of annual salary and easy of telecommuting. Solution Architects tops the list, with 70% reporting they are able to telecommute and with a national median salary of $112,000 a year. Other IT folk and those in sales are not surprisingly also high on the list, and it looks like becoming a manager is a good idea for flexibility as well.
