in2gpu: Lumino City Review

Vlad Badoiu at in2gpu.com wrote:

"Lumino City is the sequel to Lume, a critically acclaimed puzzle platformer from a few years back which, as the game at hand, was created not through digital rendering, but entirely by hand out of paper, card, miniature lights and motors. The result has been released and it has not disappointed.

The story revolves around a young girl who goes in search of her grandfather, who apparently gets eldernapped right at the story’s inception while she’s downstairs preparing some paper tea. What follows is a trip through multiple handmade locations, each with its own theme and puzzle."

Game Discovery - Lumino City

Mobirum has been reviewing beautiful games so far, this is a fact.

But Lumino City is by far something out of the ordinary.

With an environment entirely hand-crafted, honest storytelling and a simple gameplay, Lumino City is ready to take you on a marvelous journey, lasting from 8 to 10 hours!

Even more exciting? Lumino City is part of this month's Humble Mobile Bundle in the category "Great adventure" (which it is!)

So just about everything you see in the game is real, not CGI. That's a lot of effort to put into a game, and it makes Lumino City quite special. It's also why I was looking forward to playing it on iOS."
