Theresa Marino, Longtime Peekskill Area Resident

Theresa Marino, a longtime Peekskill area resident, died on Monday October 27, 2014.

She was born in Verplanck, NY, on April 17, 1933, to Joseph and Mary Tallerico Marino. A graduate of Hendrick Hudson High School, Theresa worked for over forty years as a secretary at Burnwell Gas Co., Peekskill.

Theresa was blessed with a beautiful voice and used her musical gifts to sing and play the organ for many people throughout her life. She was an active member of the Peekskill Senior Citizens, and was a Lay Associate with the Franciscan Sisters of Peekskill.

Theresa is survived by her sister, Angeline (James) DeSocio, brother Joseph (Greta) Marino, sister in law Margaret Marino, nephew Michael (Kathleen), nieces Mary Lynn, Jennifer, and Maria, four grandnephews and one grand niece. She is predeceased by her parents and brother, Vincent Marino.

Funeral arrangements were handled by  Dorsey-Carlone Funeral Home.
