Video of terrible Calgary driver sparks criminal investigation in hit-and-run

Some Canadian drivers miraculously never learned how to drive in snow.

Surveillance footage captured by an Calgary, Alberta, business apparently shows the driver of a BMW SUV struggling to escape a parking spot for four minutes.

It took a good Samaritan to guide the helpless driver out, while unbeknownst to him, the awful driver had already smashed into his red car, the video shows.

Calgary police detectives are aware of the video that has garnered more than a million views since its upload on Thursday, Constable Jeremy Shaw confirmed on Twitter.

“And yes, we have already started a hit and run investigation,” Shaw added, calling the suspect Calgary’s worst driver.

The Calgary Sun reports police have already identified the driver of the damaged red car, who learned of the dent as the BMW drove off.
