Koei Tecmo recently shared a first look at the newcomer Honoka in action in her debut trailer. Now that we know what she’s about, here’s the game’s latest video shows off more of her moves, along with additional costumes and hairstyles for other characters.
Honoka might look like an average young teen, but she has the ability to keep up with the best of them, and you can see why by just looking at the way she handles Jacky, Moniji, Ein, Jann Lee, Hayate, and Helena in the video.
Similar to Edge Master of the Soucalibur series, Honoka seems to be able to mimic other characters and their move sets. As previously reported, she is said to have unbelievable strength and becomes capable of techniques she has never seen from any other fighter, while in her Hissatsu-no-Kamae stance.
When Honoka was first revealed, it was reported that she has some sort of “secret power,” which we can assume is her stance. You can read more about her back-story, and details on her “Honoka Fu” fighting style, here.
Starting around the 10:00 mark, we get to see Honoka, Lisa, Kasumi, and other characters sporting alternate costumes. Finally, the video shows us a look at the Command Training mode.
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round will be released this February for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
