Auto Accident at the Montrose Deli Leads to DWAI Charge for Verplanck Man
State police investigated the crash Nov. 11.
Marc P. Mero, 42, of Verplanck, is facing a misdemeanor charge of driving while ability impaired by drugs.
State police said troopers arrested Mero at about 6:15 p.m. Nov. 11 after a property-damage automobile accident in the parking lot of the Montrose Deli.
A State Police Drug Recognition Expert was utilized to evaluated Mero and confirm that he was impaired, police said.
Mero was issued uniform traffic tickets and is due in Town of Cortlandt Court Nov. 21.
