You need to change textures of the planes and helis, to make them work with Silent Patch correctly.

Mmm... Sorry but how i can do that with other vehicles i mean helicopters?

You shouldn't leave your mouse outside then.

Sometimes I have a small mouse in my cat but she learned not to come inside with that nasty stuff in her mouth. I'm glad she's willing to feed me, though. Oh, I'm using SilentPatch, too, btw.

Yeah, I'm sorry; couldn't resist.

No need to be sorry for your english but I think it's impossible for anyone to understand what exactly the problem is. And I think you didn't even tell. You need to be more specific and take care that you can be understood otherwise Silent can't do anything about it. "I found a bug!" doesn't say anything.

Solution: bury the mouse and get a cat. Or a dog if you want high precision.

ASI Loader updated... f*ck knows how long adding SilentPatch support for this damn EXE will take though.

  • Removes several songs for ALL OWNERS (Seems to be same songs that were cut from the mobile version)
  • Removes several resolution options, including 1920x1080 (This was broken in the original version, then fixed in a patch - now unfixed with this latest patch)
  • Adds support for XInput controllers (Xbox 360 controller)
  • Makes "Steering with Mouse" enabled by default
  • Loading a game save from the original version just starts a new game
  • Crashes during car explosions if another monitor is attached

Retail DVD FTW

Does this make some parts of GInput redundant, or is it plagued by the mobile version's digital control to nearly everything?

I bet my 2 cents that controller vibration isn't supported.

Well you get to keep your 2 cents, because it ain't. :p

EDIT: Some guy on the Steam Discussion board claiming that R*'s current controller support is better than GInput..

obv it's not. That's why GInput is still planned, despite some people being pretty negative about it.

Cut songs are understandable, legal copyrights and contracts and whatnot

But for all the rest... I don't know how R* works, I mean, I guess people are involved in GTA V development for PC (GOD HELP US WITH THAT), some other people are into new projects, but there must be a "support" department for released products.

Silent, you should contact R* explaining what you did in your patch. A 180kb file fixing 2 tons of stuff and while you're it, a 450MB official patch full of nonsense. Just amazing.

Understandable for new purchases after the licenses expire, not acceptable or understandable for those who have already purchased the game before the expiration.

Fixed.

And what a f*cking lazy update! I'm so glad I still have my precious retail copy.

A new test version is out!

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/46581994/patchsatest/silentpatch_11_beta.zip

Mostly a day one patch for this f*cking broken new Steam version...

* Aspect ratios are now correct and not squashed, like they used to be

* 1.0/1.01 save games will not be rejected now

* 1.0/3.0 settings file will not be rejected now

* 10ms frame delay has been removed. As a result, game now locks properly on 30 FPS instead of 25 FPS

* Mouse should not lock up randomly when exiting the menu on newer systems anymore

* 16:9 and 5:4 resolutions are now selectable

...though the other EXEs got one new fix too :p

* Detached vehicle parts now render from both sides

EDIT:

DO GET SILENT'S ASI LOADER 1.3 AS ANY EARLIER VERSION WILL CRASH THE GAME WHEN USED WITH THIS NEW EXE

This is downright bizarre because you're correct, Rockstar has no obligation or right to delete your copies of what they legally distributed at a prior time. Patches should leave previously purchased audio in place. It's got to be because the patch was automatically built from comparing file changes without thinking what the files are. It's a lack of a human being intervening to protect the user's right to the previously purchased content.

The version sold at GameTree Mac, probably forgotten since the Mac App Store got the game, still contains the 2005 audio (I just redownloaded my 2010 purchase to check).

Just to confirm, the new ASI loader is irrelevant for non-steam users, yes?
