Greenwich Man Faces Charges He Assaulted Woman, Dragged Her by the Hair

The suspect was unable to post bond.

A Greenwich resident has been arrested on charges he assaulted a woman and dragged her out of his apartment by the hair.

The suspect was arrested about 10 a.m. Saturday after the victim went to Greenwich Police headquarters to report the incident, according to a police report.

John Lopez, 25, of 26 N. Water St., was arrested on charges of third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

He was held in lieu of $1,000 bond and was scheduled to appear April 6 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
