Greater Tarrytown Area Guide to Celebrating on Valentine's Day, Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015

Valentine’s Day baked goods available at the Red Barn Bakery in Irvington are described and places where the treats can be purchased are listed.

Elmsford
Rini’s. Three-course, prix-fixe dinner, $38.95 per person. Limited a la carte menu available. Entertainment at 7:30 p.m. Tony J Jazz Masters Trio with vocalist Louis Vanaria. No cover charge.
Westchester Broadway Theatre. “Simply Diamond.” Brian LaBlanc’s Neal Diamond Tribute. Dinner at 6:15 p.m. Show at 8 p.m. $85 per person plus tax.

Irvington
Chutney Masala. Three-course, prix-fixe dinner, $49.95 per person. Entrées: Saag paneer, baigan bharta, chicken tikka masala,lamb vindallo, tandoori salmon, goan shrimp curry, and crab moille. Free glass of sparkling or house wine.
Il Sorriso. Three-course, prix-fixe dinner, $45 per person. Glass of prosecco included. At least five entrées will be offered including filet mignon and lobster tail. Appetizers will include lemon chicken and orzo soup and an arugula salad with pear, gorgonzola, walnuts, and honey balsamic dressing.
Red Barn Bakery. 100-percent organic and non-GMO (genetically modified organism) treats for purchase at the counter. Chocolate covered strawberries, heart-decorated cookies, chocolate cheese cake, chiffon cake, macaroons, and flourless chocolate cake. Breakfast-in-bed packages can be customized with scones, muffins, or other baked goods. Gluten-free and vegan baked goods, in wide varieties, are available.
Red Hat on the River. Three-course, prix-fixe dinner, $75 per person. Includes hors d’oeuvres. Entrées: Fish stew, sautéed Block Island fluke, grilled Scottish salmon, French-cut chicken breast, duck and cherry, short rib bourguignon, and grilled prime aged steak. Coffee, tea, espresso or cappuccino included. Dessert: Five assorted sweets.

Tarrytown

Cellar 49. Wine-paired, prix-fixe dinner/accommodations package, $359-$369 per couple with lobster risotto, filet mignon with chocolate port wine reduction, paired wines and beers with each course. Includes one overnight accommodation and Biddle Mansion American breakfast for two.
Cooper’s Mill. Entrées: Skuna Bay salmon, striped bass, French-cut chicken breast, filet mignon, and rack of lamb. Complimentary glass of prosecco.

RiverMarket Bar and Kitchen. Four-course tasting menu for two, $75. Featuring dishes prepared with products raised and grown in the Hudson Valley.
Ruth’s Chris. Three-course dinner, $43.95 per person. Entrées: scallops, six-ounce filet and shrimp, stuffed chicken breast, and salmon. Side dish included. Roses for the ladies and take-home bag of chocolates on Saturday. Godiva chocolate martini (a Godiva chocolate is in this drink) priced at $14, Saturday only.
Tarry Tavern. Three-course, prix-fixe dinner, $55 per person. Roasted red beet salad and braised pork cheeks. Red roses, chocolate truffles and chocolate dipped strawberries.
Tarrytown Music Hall. “Pop, Rock, & Doo Wop.” Balcony, $55; orchestra, $65; premium, $75. Show begins at 8 p.m.
