Games of the Year: Derrick’s Top Six

Derrek Writes: By no means was 2014 a perfect year for gaming. Many of the big releases fell short of expectations and the year ended with a barrage of broken games released to the public. Some games victim to high expectations, some of lacked density, what remains are a few games in 2014 I think everyone should obtain. You may disagree with my top six, and that’s okay. Your preferences are probably different than mine, but hopefully you understand my reasons.

Bold choice with Titanfall, as I haven't seen it on many lists. I really appreciate the aim of the game and think that Titanfall 2 will be announced soon, and be a serious heavyweight, it just lacked staying power for some reason. Good list though and some good supporting comments to back them up.

I really enjoyed Titanfall. It just didn't have enough variety to hold me to it months later.

that being said, let's hope this time the release date finally sticks. Looking forward to playing this in VR.
