Sony Pictures has officially opened the floodgates. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the company announced that The Interview—you know, that one comedy with all the North Korean hacking and terrorist threats and lukewarm reviews—is now available on almost every digital streaming platform available.

That includes Cable VOD services from Bright House Networks, Comcast, Cox Communications, Time-Warner Cable, Charter Communications, Cablevision, AT&T Uverse, FiOS, DirecTV, and VUDU. All you lucky customers, starting as early as today and rolling out over the next couple days, will have the opportunity to rent the film after parting with $6, and if you have Verizon or VUDU, you can even buy it for $15. Strangely, PlayStation Network will finally get the film tomorrow, days after Xbox Video (?). The only sites missing are the big ones like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Instant Video, but Sony most likely wants to squeeze out as much VOD dollars as possible before going to subscription-based services. We've reach out to Sony for confirmation on these details.

Of course, you can still watch via YouTube, Google Play, Xbox Video, iTunes (which they released on Sunday) and Sony's own dedicated site—or find other, more illegal means of digital acquisition. [THR]
