Weather Update: Bronxville and Eastchester's Hour-by-Hour Snow Forecast

Snow will be falling during Thursday's morning commute to work and we'll let you know when it's supposed to end.

The projected accumulation totals for this latest winter storm isn’t the real story here.

The real news, is that the snow will be still be falling during Thursday morning’s commute, so please exercise caution when driving.

The storm itself isn’t that impressive, although the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Southern Westchester County. Two to five inches of snow are possible, which begins after midnight, and ends early Thursday afternoon.

The hour-by-hour forecast for Bronxville and Eastchester, according to the NWS:

  • Tonight: Rain and sleet before 10pm, then snow and sleet between 10pm and 1am, then snow after 1am. Low around 24. Light northwest wind increasing to 5 to 9 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total nighttime snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
  • Thursday: Snow, mainly before 4pm. Temperature falling to around 22 by 3pm. Wind chill values between 10 and 15. North wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
  • Thursday Night: A chance of snow, mainly before 7pm. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 12. Wind chill values between zero and 10. Northwest wind 8 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
