4,5 HOT HOT HOT STARS :))))

This book was hilarious and so hot!!!I love it!!!

Eric and Rebekah are a perfect couple!!Two incredibly sexy and quirky characters who find in the other their best friend and soul mate!Make a strong and honest relationship!!

description

In this book Dave, the Sinner's soundboard operator is still recovering from the accident that left him in a wheelchair.Rebekah his younger sister convinces him to ask the band if she could help them until he recovers...
Rebekah has a huge crush on the Sinner's guitarist Trey..and she wants to seduce him!!

The moment Eric the drummer lays eyes on Rebekah he instantly feels he's got to have her..so when the band ask him his thoughts on Rebekah joining the crew, he says yes.His happiness is short lived though when, she seems to only have eyes for Trey...

At the beginning there is playfulness between Eric and Rebekah and I find it very cute!!
I enjoyed that at first Rebekah sought after Trey but had a little thing on the side with Eric until it became a passionate relationship.. She'll soon realized that Eric had more substance for her than Trey did!!

As Eric and Rebekah get to know each other Rebekah starts to see Eric in a different way..He has always doubted his worth, and so when challenges are thrown there way Eric is left questioning what Rebekah sees in him and what he has to offer...

description

This book will show you a softer and more vulnerable side of Eric and allow you to understand him on a deeper level..We get a peek into his past and the struggles he faced early on in his life..His cute and sexy presence will have you begging to find a guy like Eric!!!

description

There's lot of seductive, sexy and spicy sex!!I love all the sex scenes!!

description

Also there is a really good story behind the sensuality!
Wicked Beat will take you on a roller coaster of emotions. The back and forth between Eric, Trey, and Reb will have you dying to know what will happen next!!

DNF at 68%

I started skimming after 40% and finally lost interest by 68%.

I loved Eric–and kudos to Olivia Cunning for having the courage to give Eric the sexual problem he had. It was brilliantly done and she made me LOVE him even more! Sadly, I did not care for the heroine, Rebekah. I was disappointed that she kept pining for Trey instead of Eric. I felt he deserved someone better; someone who had eyes only for him! To be fair, though, Rebekah may have been able to make me a believer in her love for Eric had I finished the book.

I've said this many times before, and I will continue to say it. It's a shame the publisher released this series out of order. By doing so, this story had the wind taken out of its sails, so to speak, which subsequently left the book feeling a bit redundant and out of place. That's because I had already read Double Time–the book that should have been the last in the series as it wrapped up each couple's HEA. What a shame!

With all that said, and even though I lost interest in this particular story, if you're looking for well written, heavy on the steam (just think porn) Rock Star Romances, you CAN'T beat Olivia Cunning. She has a way of capturing the ambiance of a rock band like no one else.

Rebekah is now the temporary replacement of the Sinner's soundboard operator. This is because her brother, Dave, is still recovering from the bus crash. Rebekah has been wanting Trey Mills for a very long time, and she wants to use the time she has to be on tour with them to get Trey Mills to want her. I really liked the fact that Rebekah could be uninhibited at times, but she is still a bit insecure due to her past relationship. But otherwise, she was fun, sexy, and crazy. She soon finds herself falling for the band member she least expected, Eric. He helps her become confident again.

Eric Sticks... oh, how he stole my heart!! I loved his quirkiness. I was laughing so hard at all his lame jokes that were so endearing. We had seen him before in the sidelines. He seemed like such a weirdo perv, but in reality, he was probably the sweetest guy of the band. This is what Rebekah soon realizes, that even though Trey may be a real looker, Eric is way better for her. They understand each other. I think they were such a perfect couple. She shows Eric how it is like to be loved. I loved how they would play dress-up, how Rebekah helped Eric with his "problem" and how they had no filter around each other. I Loved it!!

There was an abundance of smexy times in this book. Like any Olivia Cunning book, the sex won't dissappoint. It was über HOT!! I really loved the book, which I will admit shocked me. Not because I was expecting it to be bad, but because I usually don't like books with so much sex and very little story to it. But this one, I'm thinking it was because of Eric, I just couldn't stop reading. I really enjoyed it. It was fantastic to see the entire gang interact with each other. Trey played a big part in this story and now I can't wait to read his book. Overall, it was a hot, adorable sexy read. I definitely recommend you give this a try.

4.5 HOT stars!!!

 photo 6ade73e2-db6d-4cbc-946e-9366791e376c_zps24e378f2.jpg

Eric Sticks is the random, funny, inappropriate, sweet and sexy drummer for The Sinners. He isn’t just a drummer. He does a lot of composing for the band as well. He can play about any instrument. From the previous books, I always think of him as ‘the watcher’- and we learn why he is a watcher...

 photo WickedBeat-Sticks_zps48a16fad.gif

Rebekah ‘Reb’ is joining The Sinners on tour. She is so excited. Being a new graduate, she only gets the job as FOH because of her brother, Dave. He is the soundboard operator that got injured, and she is filling in for him. The Sinners are one of her favorite bands and she is stoked to be touring with them. She’s a girl, and she’s young... she has a lot to prove.
If someone would just give her a chance, she would show them that a woman can be just as metal as a man.
 photo WickedBeat-Soundboardgif_zps5260de16.gif

Reb want to live life to the fullest. After a scare with cancer, she is now healthy and alive. She wants to start living. What better than getting with a hot rockstar? She has her eye set on Trey Mills (don’t blame the girl there). For some reason, she is drawn to Eric Sticks, the drummer. She doesn’t understand it. She has always found Trey the most attractive of the band, but for some reason, Eric affects her.

When Eric walked into Dave’s hospital room to meet Reb, he was dumbstruck. He couldn’t believe his eyes. There was something about Reb from the first moment he saw here. He is smitten with her right away.
It was her. Standing right there. About shoulder high. Petite. Feminine. Blond-and-blue-haired. Both beautiful and adorable in her mismatched tube socks, a purple tank top and green mini skirt. It really was her. The woman of Eric’s wet dreams.

Once Eric gets to know Reb, he has to have her. He can tell she has it for Trey, but all the guys know him and they can tell how he feels about her. So they try to help him out. Reb can fix a car, laughs at Eric’s jokes that no one else gets. She understands him. The more time they spend together, the more he thinks Reb might actually like him. But he is concened. He’s worried once Reb finds out about his little problem, she won’t want to be with him. I’ve been curious to why Eric was always a ‘watcher’... in this book we find out.
They were all fucking studs, and Eric felt like more of a dud.

Reb has issues of her own. After a messed up relationship that changed how she felt about sex and her body, she is nervous. She and Eric take things... well, I wouldn’t say slow- but differently.
“Show me, Eric. I want to see.”

They decide to help one another with their problems. They have some ‘lessons’. Eric and Reb’s sex life was interesting. Lets just say they could buy out the sex shops. I love how Reb refers to Eric-
You’re like Mr. Romance and Mr. Porn Star wrapped in one.

When they are finally together, for real... it is HOT, but also very sweet...
.
How Reb was with Eric just made me like her so much. They are able to be together, live out their fantasies.

 photo f2040902-9de8-44d1-8830-7d65784fe31d_zpsfc95935a.jpg

Far too soon, reality hits. After they are off tour, will these two be able to make it work? Reb has a crazy mom, an ex that wants her back... it’s a lot to take in.

I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this book. For some reason, in the other 4 books, I never really clicked with Eric. After reading this book, it’s safe to say I love him! Eric is quirky, funny, sweet and sexy. Reb is all of those things as well. They both have a lot of similar personality traits. That may be why they get a long so well, they just get each other.
“You’re weird.”
“You’re weird, too.” she said defensively.
“I guess that means we’re perfect for each other.”

 photo 0f8fb570-8eeb-4a75-b604-d0f80ebac7db_zps56e031ad.jpg

It was great catching up with all the guys. I am still such a Trey fan girl, I loved getting the Thanksgiving bathroom scene with him! Wow... And things from his book made much more sense after reading this one.

I am a huge fan of The Sinners on Tour series. It probably my favorite erotica series. Just something about these rock stars...

 photo 78ff4db7-b3b2-472c-854a-362fffe108a7_zpsaafe0ce2.jpg

I loved most everything about this one. Reb and Eric’s relationship, how they were with one another, how they got together, the hot hot hot sex (obviously). They were a beautiful couple. One of my favorite ‘couples’ of the series. I loved how they helped each other, healed each other, and never gave up on one another. I’m still rounding up to 5, but the reason it got 4.5 stars instead of 5 stars... the ending. I wanted more of an epilogue. I felt like the ending kind of left you hanging. I know the author couldn’t help it, but it was also a pet peeve of mine that these books were released out of order. This is supposed to be book 4 of the series, but was released as book 5. I think I may need to do a re-read of all of them in order :D Overall, a another fantastically hot, fun and touching read from Olivia Cunning!

Adult review for erotic content.

Real. Life. Problems.

I haven't checked out many reviews for this book yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if at least a few people took issue with Eric's "issue" turning out to be something which doesn't exactly fit the role of him being a sexy rock god.

Personally, I loved how real his problem was. All this time, I wondered why Eric liked to watch more than participate. And even though his reason for being standoffish was not the sexiest reason in the world (and it really wasn't), it was real. Any woman who's dated more than a couple of guys might have come across a guy who's dealt with a similar problem.
They were all fucking studs, and Eric felt like more of a dud.

So the guy had a minor problem...it honestly wasn't that big of a deal. Rebekah was up to the task of handling it, much how Aggie was up to the task of handling Jace's issues in the previous book. I am actually in awe of Ms. Cunning having the nerve to write erotica with flawed characters. PERFECTION IS BORING to read about. Sure, imperfect men can sometimes ruin the fantasy for some people, but if that's going to be an issue for someone, then they can go pick up one of the other gajillion erotic books with men who have no flaws (other than the crap going on in their heads leading back to their abusive mommy issues). I will be over here reading the stories featuring real men dealing with real issues.

Something else which resonated with me was the way Rebekah voiced her need to feel wanted. She had been hurt and needed to know that she was wanted and that she was thought of as beautiful, so she spoke directly to her man and told him what she needed to hear. So often with books, I almost get frustrated by the voiced insecurity in heroines (because it's generally whining and complaining), to the point where I want to slap them for not shutting up about it. Rebekah took her insecurities and turned them into something which she voiced (in the bedroom), taking the power back and asking for reassurance in a manner which was sexy and realistic, and not overdone in a pathetic and needy way.
She wasn't sure she wanted either of them to do anything about their desire. She just needed to know that it existed.

Another thing I appreciated was some of the "too fast, now we might have regret" moments. Feelings can get intense in these situations and things can be said prematurely, yet it's great to see people sort of wrestle back and forth with their feelings. Life is rarely all or nothing, and I can appreciate people getting confused about what they are thinking and feeling.
She shouldn't have spouted her feelings so carelessly. She wished she could take the words back.

So here we are nearing the end and I really can't get enough of my Sinners. Yes, there's more sex than plot, but that's what these books are, so that's why I wait to read one until I'm in the mood for a lot of smoking hot sex. These aren't romance books with a side of erotica. The books are erotica with a side of plot (and the scant plot that is there is something I truly like). Few authors can write sex to my preference the way that Olivia Cunning can. There was great dirty talk, great voyeurism scenes and great one-on-one scenes. Each man has a different way of doing things and Eric was no exception. In fact, I was floored by the fact that he wasn't as open about sharing as you might have expected from his past encounters. Even the most free of man can fall when the right woman comes along.

On a separate note : Trey's scene in a bathroom near the end of the book = WOWZA. Talk about unexpected! Talk about needing a fan to cool down the place!

I know that a few people said this was their least favorite book in the series but I loved Wicked Beat just as much as any Sinners book because it wasn't another copy of Brian, or Sed, or Jace. Eric's story was unique, and his pain and fantasies were just as viable as any of the other band members. I am definitely going to be re-reading this hot mess someday.
"Eric finally fucked a girl properly," Trey shouted. "Woot! Woot!"

In fact, I have no real big complaints at all. I was in the mood for some hot sex and Wicked Beat delivered. The only instances which gave me pause were a couple of times when words such as retard and pansy were thrown around. Regardless of how realistic the banter might be with guys behind closed doors, I think we live in a place and time where there's other ways to be crude without using certain trigger words...especially when the author has control over what goes into the writing. I'd rather see sexual lingo or general swearing, instead of words which can hurt readers and alienate them from what is otherwise a great time.

This book provided from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All quotes taken from the pre-published copy and may be altered or omitted from the final copy.

4.5 deliciously wicked stars
“You and me alone. That’s my ultimate fantasy.”

This isn't you're typical boy meets girl, and they fall in love kind of story...it's not even your typical fuck buddy, friends-with-benefit / bootycall kind of story either...I mean where would the fun be in that, lol. Nope what we have here is a little different:

You have one of the best drummers and musical geniuses in the industry who is also a voyeur and a big time flirt. He gets off on watching his friends fuck their girls and sometimes when approved he participates.

But that all changes when he sees Dave's sister, Rebekah. She's temporarily filling in for Dave while he recovers. Determined to prove her self in a man's world and be able to finally snag the man of her dreams, the one and only Trey Mills. A moment alone with Trey is all she needs, but when he gets a little too close for comfort, she realizes she's not ready. Needing to build up her courage she engages Eric in a proposition, after all the attention he's given her, it won't hurt to have the man who makes her laugh and puts her at ease, give her the boost she needs.
His excitement and enthusiasm made her feel beautiful. Wanted. Irresistible. And he was fun. And generous . And almost as spontaneous as she was.

Formulating lessons and testing theories has never been this fun; full of toys, rides, costumes and wild insatiable passion.

They both learn a thing or two from each other and just as quickly Rebekah realizes she's been lusting after the wrong rock god.
“The past can’t be changed,” she said. “The future can’t be predicted. All we really have is the present. So none of that matters to me.”

Wicked Beat brings us back to the Sinners on Tour, after the mess of an accident in Hot Ticket, their all back at it again except this time with the company of the fun and rambunctious company of Rebekah. For Eric it was love at first sight, and with his track record, he didn't really trust his initial reaction. We got to see a different side to Eric, it was kind of eluded to in Hot Ticket, but he was a man with a past and he hid behind his humor and jokes to keep people away. Rebekah never felt complete, always chasing the need to prove herself whole, and with Eric she finds herself. Her mom was a complete nut case and utter bitch to them both, it was a wonder they survived all her at all.

Another epic journey and tale, where blunt honesty and passion is the foundation of their relationship. Learning to accept and be the one who will stand by each other through whatever obstacles life throws at you. Wicked Beat nicely set up Trey's book next; like the others were gonna see a whole other side of him and I can't wait!

5 “MERCY, BABY” STARS!!!!

Eric + Rebekah = Best Sinners Couple!!!!

My Eric:

canadian model Andrew Stetson

My Reb:

white-blue-hair

No drama. They say what they mean. They mean what they say. They center their relationship on never lying to each other (awesome!). Eric is the funny man (which is why I love him!), and he lets silly and stupid things slip all the time. Reb is so perfect for him because she never takes him seriously and laughs at everything he says (sounds like me!).

I was grinning and fanning myself throughout this entire book. My favorite moment of the book was when he’s playing the drums with her in between his legs! Swoon! When Eric first sees Rebekah, he is floored, and I loved it. It was so unexpected and sweet.

His pale blue gaze seemed to caress her skin as he watched her with undisguised interest. She didn’t understand why, but she liked the way he looked at her. It was as if she was forbidden fruit, and he was one second away from getting himself ejected from the Garden of Eden.

Reb is a professional sound board operator. She is a tomboy. She knows cars. She is cute and adorable and sexy and sultry. After a bout with cancer, she feels empty and inadequate. Eric is the first person to make her feel whole again.

Eric is an Animal in every way (with his mouth, in the bedroom, he’s funny, oh yeah, and he’s a drummer!):

Animal!

Eric likes to watch (hehehe), and Reb likes it when he watches. They also have a lot of fun with role playing. The sex is off the charts!!!! “Can I cuddle with you later?” he asked her. “I’d rather you watch me shower,” she whispered.

Olivia Cunning must a goddess in the bedroom or watch a lot of porn because damn, does she know how to write a million types of sex scenes!!!

Wicked Beat

“Why would you need a camouflaged condom?”
“So you won’t see me coming.”

à la Mode St. » fashion

“I like you, period.”
“I like you, exclamation point.”

à la Mode St. » fashion

“Are you going to make me get a hideous tattoo on my ass?”
“Yeah,” he said. “A tattoo of my face.”
She laughed. “Your face isn’t hideous, but why would you want it on my ass?”
“So even when I’m not around, you’ll still be sitting on my face.”

♥❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

This was by far my favorite Sinners book!!!!!!

3.5 ★'s

We finally get Eric's story and if you were bad like me and read them as they came out instead of in order...than this is the last Sinner's book.

I have to be honest...I wasn't sure if I would like Eric's book. I didn't really ever warm up to him and his voyeurism ways. But...I'm glad I read it because I was totally surprised!

Eric, who's the drummer for the band, turned into this sweet, loving, kind person who instead of being hateful because of his past, reaches out and embraces life. Well...sorta. And he just blurts out the most hilarious things. I'm so happy that Rebekah "got" him. (Rebekah is Dave's younger sister and also a front of house soundboard operator. She fills in for Dave after the accident.) He really needed someone like her...even if she wasn't initially interested in him.

description

Yea...that part. It was a little hard to get past but I was happy that Eric and Reb did. Unfortunately, that wasn't the only obstacle.

The first half of the book, okay a huge part of the book, is a big sexfest. You think I would be use to that by now but there is a whole lotta sex in this book...A WHOLE LOT! Voyeurism sex, fantasy sex, role playing sex, sex in the shower, sex in the car...M/M sex!! and well tons of other sex! I almost was oversexed!! It was getting a bit redundant but I'm glad I hung in there because there is a reason for it...well, besides the usual.

I just knew something else had to happen since the tour wrapped up, Eric and Reb were together and I was only at fifty percent. I have to say that I LOVED all the drama!!

I was totally surprised about Isaac and even more so at what a jerk he was! Reb's Mom was horrible...OMG, she makes most monster-in-laws seem wonderful. But thank goodness, that worked out and I liked how things came together at the end.

There were a lot of sweet, romantic moments between Eric and Reb. I loved all the gifts and the tattoos were really sweet.

description

There's a lot of the band moments and of the band members with their significant others. Don't worry about Trey...he's not lonely At. All. And thank goodness for Trey, I loved what all he did for Eric and Reb.

I'm happy with the stories...even reading them out of order. I liked how everyone fit together but I will miss them...maybe not all the sex because there's just something about those Sinners!

(PS...I will admit that I did have to go reread the last chapter of Double Time just to get closure!)

The Fourth Book in the Sinners on Tour Series was all about Eric Sticks & Rebekah (aka "Reb") - Overall it was a fun book, but it had some ups and downs for me.

The Ups -
1. I thought it was adorable that Sticks went all stupid love at first sight for Reb right out of the gate.
2. I love that Trey

The Downs -
1. Wasn't much of a fan of Reb (sorry) she had some badass moments, but I kind of got the feeling that all she really wanted to do was Fix Eric.
2. Which brings me to

I think I laughed more in Wicked Beat than I did in the other Sinners on Tour books. The whole
And so I'm moving on to Book Five, Double Time, which happens to me Trey's story and I'm entirely too excited!

An Update for you: October 24, 2013
I stumbled across a Sinners website created by Olivia Cunning for the "band" complete with fake tour dates, bios, discography, and the infamous fan ink page. If you're a fan of the series its definitely worth checking out.

In addition, Olivia Cunning's Website has a selection of Short Stories and Deleted Scenes if you need to get a little Sinners fix.
There are two Deleted Scenes, one from from Backstage Pass called Strip Guitar Hero and one from Rock Hard called Psycho-Fan-Chic Loves Sed.

There are also four Short Stories which take place between various books in the Sinners on Tour Series...
(1) Be Mine is told from Trey's perspective, on the first Valentine's Day after Brian & Myrna get together.
(2) Wabbit Trouble is told from Sed's perspective, and features a giant bunny costume ;)
(3) Sinners Trick, Sinners Treat is a Halloween story told from Brian's perspective.
(4) Welcome to the Family is told from Jace's perspective at takes place on Christmas Eve two years before the book Backstage Pass and is probably my favorite of the four short stories.

I love a funny guy! And, Eric is always cracking corny jokes and being silly. Most people don't even realize he's joking half the time and don't know what to think of him. I totally relate to this. My husband is freaking hilarious. But, when you add his crazy humor to his thick British accent, I have people constantly looking at me with a look that says they aren't sure if he said that, but if he did they might be offended. Ha! I love that! When we drove through the car wash and they asked what scent we wanted in our air freshener and he asked if they had urine scented I cracked up too hard to translate to the attendant.

And, that is the key to the funny-man's heart: finding a girl that finds him hilarious and laughs at his jokes. Rebekah is the perfect girl for Eric.

"Why would you need a camouflaged condom?" Rebekah asked.

"So you won't see me coming."

Rebekah snorted and then burst into delighted laughter. The cashier rolled her eyes and shook her head...

"I love that you laugh at my corny jokes."

"They're funny."

So, Eric is the drummer for the band and Rebekah is the new soundboard operator. She's tiny, cute, and very very excited to work with the band.

"I'll make it sound awesome!" She thrust a fist in the air. "Just you watch."

Eric grinned at her enthusiasm. Absolutely adorable. But not metal. Like, at all.

Eric falls for her the very first second he sees her and she falls for him about 5 minutes later. Gee, who knew these rock gods fall in love so easily? They were tattooing each other's names on their bodies within a couple of weeks. And, let's just say that this seems like a poor decision to me. She didn't even know his real last name when she had his first name tattooed above her ass. Seems problematic in my eyes. But, hey, they could always cross them off later.

They look great, dude!

So, things moved pretty fast in this relationship. They stopped by a sex-store on first date before they slept together. They said "I love you" later that night. They were engaged before the next full moon. It was pretty fast.

And, of course there has to be some sort of "thing" that they are into. Their thing is dressing up and role playing. Really? They've been together 5 minutes and they need to drag out costumes and fake accents? What are they going to be doing in 10 years? "Hey, babe, why don't you wear the French Maid costume tonight?" "Screw you! I've been cleaning up after these damn kids all day! Why don't YOU wear the French Maid costume and actually pick up your dirty underwear off the floor?... and do a load of laundry for a change! Asshole."

But, overall this was a cute and fun romance. I love the band and their interactions. This makes me wonder why I didn't become a groupie back in the day. Oh yeah, fear of gonorrhea. Not a fan.

Can I say I love Eric? He was funny, sweet, sensitive, cool, loving, tough, jealous, patient, sexy.... just a perfect book boyfriend.

Reb was a girl on a mission out to prove herself in the rock n roll world and instead of landing Trey (who she thought she wanted before she got there) she ended up with Eric and it truly was a perfect match. She got his sense of humor, loved him for who he is and helped him out with his issue......

I loved how playful these two were. I adored that they couldn't keep their hands off each other, and excuse me, but I never imagined that could happen with a drum set..WOW!

I still get to read Double Time, I'm super excited about that and truly glad I didn't compromise the series integrity by reading them out of order. Trey had a great role in Wicked Beat and that Thanksgiving scene??? LMAO Trey at his finest!!

Thanks Olivia Cunning for creating my all time favorite series. I know I will re read my Sinners over & over again. So looking forward to EE and Dare... *Swoon* Love me some Dare.... Bring on the next round of hot rockers! Nobody does it better than you!!

UPDATE: THANK YOU OF GOD OF NETGALLEY! I KNEEL AT YOUR FEET IN HUMBLE GRATITUDE xoxoxo

Review Below...

WOW!! What a cover!!

I am a huge fan of this series and I swear the covers and the books get hotter and hotter each time!

To start this post off I have to tell you

Thank you to the Gods of Netgalley for this book for review. Months back when the cover for Wicked Beat came out I was urning for it and thanks to NetGalley I read it early. I'm not sure I would have been able to bear the wait.

ARE YOU A SINNER FAN TOO?

Do you rock to that WICKED BEAT of theirs?

If you are get ready to rock cause Olivia Cunning doesn't hold back one bit on Eric Stixx's story at all!

If you don't know who I'm talking about... Where the hell have you been?

*chanting* Sinners! Sinners! Sinners!

Wickedly devious, titillating, and arousing is how I would describe Wicked Beat the last installment of the Sinners series. Eric Stixx, drummer for Sinners is the last man standing. All his band mates have partner off and he is feeling the "want" to be with someone special, only Stixx has they worst track record with women.

The band has made a few changes to their crew, they have added a new FOH sound board operator to their mix, Rebekah. Rebekah is exhilarated about the chance to help her brother Dave out by filling in for him and work for her favorite band and possibly get a little closer to her rock star crush - The deviantly sexy Trey Mills.

The minute Eric sees Rebekah he is smitten with her, she's smart, daring, and she has blue hair just like him! But all Rebekah notices is Trey Mills, well at least until she tries to prove a point to Eric and winds up in a toe curling, mind scrambling kiss with him.

Rebekah is a spunky girl who wants to enjoy life after a cancer scare and what better way to do it than with a rock star adventure. After a night of voyeuristic self exploration with Eric Stixx she makes him a deal he just can't  and doesn't want to refuse.

Eric Stixx is sure that this woman, who laughs at his awful jokes, blows his mind sexually (toys, exhibitionism, voyeurism, costumes, & role playing), and who knows just how to reeve his engine is the woman he MUST have. But when Rebekah's past shows up for dinner things get a little rocky and theres even a few rolls (in the hay) that happen that change things up.

These two character are fun together, they love to explore each other, crack and laugh at bad jokes, and are very adventurous between and out of the sheets. The rest of the band is just as funny and the banter between them all kept this book funny as well as sexy. So if you're looking for that hot as hell, electrifyingly good, must have rockstar book look no further, Olivia Cunnings Sinner's series is all you need to keep you satisfied .

Mark your calendars now for this August 6th release!

Lots of great characters in these books! I spoke with Olivia briefly and squeed my love for this series but needed to know one thing....

Dare.... I want more from him and she told me that there will be more :D

Happy Reading and keep on rocking!

Gave it another go but still DNF, this time @ 40%

I was so bummed when I got turned down for an ARC of this book but now I see it as an omen of some sort - in the last few months, every book I was turned down for, ended up being mediocre at best.

I am a HUGE fan of Olivia's Sinners on Tour series but this book just didn't do it for me. At all. And I LOVE Eric's character. I can't believe I am going to say this but this book had way too much sex and almost no story at all. Female lead did NOTHING for me. I couldn't connect with her on any level. Her obsessing over Trey was just plain weird and, if I was Eric, I would have just told her where to go (as in "fuck herself") instead of pining for her. I guess the fact that it's not his style and that he is so sweet and kind is the reason he is one of my favorite Sinners.

Super excited about Olivia's Exodus End series! Counting weeks till it's release 'cause counting days would feel excruciating! Bring on Dare!!!

It saddens me to do this but I have to pause @ 33% ... this is not working for me at this time. I will be back to finish this later though.

Woo Hoo!!! I just go this ARC from Netgalley!! So excited I actually squealed!!! As soon as I finish what I am reading now I am jumping on Eric into Wicked Beat with both feet!! :)

Review
Ok, you all know that I am the biggest FUCKING SINNERS FANGIRL, right?? Well, a part of me is so sad that this is the end of the Sinners books, but WOW! What a great ride!

Now, I promise not to give to much away since most of you suckers awesome people have to wait unit August for this book :) *evil grin*

Of all of the band members I think I figured Eric to be my least favorite, and I see now that is really only because we didn't know much about him. Other than his somewhat creepy penchant for wanting to watch and not participate in the sex games. This book gives us a better idea of why and let me tell you during this book I fell a little more in love with Sticks every chapter! Rebekah could not have been a more perfect match for him, IN EVERY WAY!!

Like all Sinners books, the sex was phenomenal, I mean 'need to stop periodically and find my hubby hot' - ya know?! So that didn't disappoint :)

This was my last book because I couldn't stand to wait and when they released Trey's book early of course I was on that one like white on rice!! I'm really not reviewing this book so much as telling you how much I enjoyed it and to let you know if you are a fan of the Sinners you love this one as well!! Now, all I can say is....when exactly can we start obsessing over Exodus End?? Hurry Olivia, please, so I don't go through sexy rock star withdrawal!!

BTW, ISN'T THE COVER FUCKING GORGEOUS? IT IS MY FAVE OF THE SERIES!!

3.5 I-love-Eric-even-though-he-has-bad-taste-in-women STARS

Maybe you're wondering how many times I wrote a review for Wicked Beat. Or maybe you aren't, but I'm going to tell you anyway. THREE TIMES! That's right. My first review was a long page of ranting about Rebekah (which I hate, and not in the loving kind of way how I do that bish Myrna, plus she doesn't mind sharing Brian and Trey with me. Shut up! She doesn't. Ok?!). Then I deleted my first review, went and opened a bottle of wine (I drank it all if you were interested in this aspect as well, if not, just consider me a blabbermouth) and wrote about 23 reasons why I love Trey, because I fell deeper in love with him in this book. And here I am now still trying to express myself and write at least a half decent review. Pfff, there goes my writing carrier.

Anywho...I was so excited about this book. And then Rebekah happened. UGH!

Wicked Beat supposed to be is Eric's book. We got a glimpse here and there in the other Sinners books of a sweet, caring, wacky drummer who's into voyeurism or was (I still don’t know the hows and whys). I truly loved him in Hot Ticket, that man could've looked like Jack Nicholson on a bad hair day and I would’ve still love the ever living shit out of him. Nothing is sexier than a man who can make you laugh and brighten your day. (Do not read further if you haven't read Hot Ticket yet)

So, here we are with Eric and Rebekah who meet at the hospital where Dave, Sinners FOH sound engineer and Reb's brother is after the accident in Canada.

But, quelle surprise, "she sorta had a panting-lust-thing for Sinners’ rhythm guitarist, Trey Mills." OKAY, lady, here's the thing. I don't blame you, Trey is sex on legs and caries a magic wand which compels you to become a slut. And then her thoughts are:
"…Rhythm guitarist Trey, sultry, sexy, with a heap of bad boy thrown in for good measure, was at least an eleven. And then there was Eric. Their drummer. She’d never really paid much attention to him. Too busy drooling over Trey. Trey—hummina, hummina, hummina—Mills."

Again, I totally understand Rebekah, I think we all do. But she didn't even acknowledge Eric, he was just the drummer. Not even a little bit attracted to him, nada! Oh, but the big BANG (no pun intended) isn't this. She's sandwiched between Trey and Eric and her thoughts are:
"She wanted Eric to want her. And she wanted Trey to want her as well. She wasn’t sure she wanted either of them to do anything about their desire. She just needed to know it existed."

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! NO! Hell no!
One doesn't not simply say 'no' to a Treysome !

Some of you might think I'm harsh. I tried to be sympathetic, I really did, there are some awful issues that she's dealing with and I was genuinely intrigued how is she going to have sex. Ah! What do you know, either Olivia Cunning bitchslapped her one night and made her single neuron function again or a fairy godmother went: "bippity boppity bullshit" and she forgot all her problems and fell in love with Eric.

Eric + Rebekah = LOVE

I'm so disappointed that I haven't learned more about Eric, at least he remained the same sweet and fun loving guy.

And the Sinners. Good God! I'm in love and in lust with them. OC created each one of them in an unique way and as a whole they're like no other rock group you'll ever read about.

Thank you, Olivia! You're my rock star!

Now go and read Double Time. There are more than 5 stud-muffins waiting for you. Can you say DARE MILLS without getting a lady boner?!

*1,5 stars*
*Spoiler free review*

I really wanted to enjoy that book, and I really tried but for the love of me, I couldn't. Here are some of the reasons why.

1/ The heroine. She is one of the dumbest, shallowest, sluttiest, less likable heroine I read about. She lusted about everyone and everything (even Eric's car) but him — and she wasn't shy about displaying her interest. She eventually turned to Eric only because Trey blatantly dismissed her. To now, I still can't understand how these two fell in love.

2/ There was no story line whatsoever. At least 90% of the book revolve around sex, lusty thoughts, bad sexual role play (I'm sorry but as far as I'm concerned role play or BDSM aren't Olivia Cunning main asset), some more sex or sexually related activities. To be honest I found most of these 90% boring.

3/ There was no character or relationship developments.

4/ Because of all the above points .

5/ The heroine's mother and ex-boyfriend appearances and behaviors caused a massive *rolls eyes*.

I like smutty stories but I also need a real story line and sexy smut scenes. Not just smut for the sake of it.

I also hate books/series that take place in a universe (sport, rock,...) but leave that universe unexploited. They were on tour but the rock universe was so little part of the story that for all we know they could have been a bunch of tourists touring whatever country.

I rounded up to 2 stars because of the guys participation.

The only reason I'm going to read "Double Time" is because I bought it months ago.

What is there not to love when it comes to another Sinners release? Although I felt like I was cheated by the out of order release of these books, I still loved Eric's story.

Eric Sticks

We have seen the voyeuristic side to Eric over the last four books - we know he likes to watch but never before have we been told why he likes to watch...

and a little more of this...

Eric always came across as sort of a goof-ball in the other books - you got to see a little bit of his softer side in Jace's book. But now we get to see just how big of a heart Eric has. He always seems to find the ones that want his fame more than they want him - those that take advantage of his softness. And at first glance it seems like Rebekah might not see past her lust for Trey to see the man that Eric is.

Rebekah is Dave's little sister and is looking to fill his shoes while he recovers from the accident. She is a huge fan and has a little more than a crush on the man-whore Trey. But there is something about Eric that sparks a reaction in her. She is suffering with her own insecurities and find that being desired by both Eric and Trey gives her a sense of being sexy. And even though Trey has been the one that she has always lusted after - she is finding it hard to resist Eric.

But Eric has his own sexual insecurities to overcome - but Rebekah is willing to see their new agreement through. Together they both get to experience a little bit of sensual kink and we get some great sex scenes. Eric and Rebekah have a low drama/angst relationship for most of the story but it's not all roses when they are faced with being on a break from the tour and life outside of the tour bus starts to interfere.

Although this book had a lot of sex, it seemed more subdued because of just how nice of a guy Eric was. I felt more drawn into the story because of his goofy heart than the hot scenes. There was just something that felt a little deeper about Eric's story that maybe only Jace's story could really touch. I am really sad to have to say good bye to these guys, even though I still have a Sole Regret to look forward to - there was just something about this series surpassed other rock series out there.

This book is my favorite Sinners Book and it reminded me of an old Blue Oyster Cult song – You’re Not The One I Was Looking For, But You’re The One For Me - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOpxt3...

You're not the one I was lookin' for but
You're the one for me (you're the one)
I'm not the one you were lookin' for but
You can't go wrong with me
You're not the one I was lookin' for but
You're oh so good for me

Rebekah and Eric’s relationship had a bit of rocky start. She’d crushed on Trey (and who doesn’t?) forever and didn’t see Eric standing right in front of her with his matching blue strands of hair. Thankfully, Trey managed to refrain and Reb quickly realized the partner she had in Eric. She got his sense of humor, she not only loves his corny jokes but she was cracking her own silly jokes, (And let me tell you, that’s hard to find) is sensitive to when she inadvertently hurts him and loves him for who he is. They got each other.

This relationship was built on honesty, no games, how refreshing. They are both adventurous and caring about other people besides themselves. She came (ha!) up with a novel approach for his little problem and it was resolved. I liked that when Eric was down, she reacted in the perfect way to bring him back up.

Now that I've covered the relationship part, let’s talk about the sexin’. Hot, hot, hot. I don’t read many mf books anymore and for me to enjoy it, it better something special. This was my kinda kink. Voyeur/Exhibition, dirty talking, messy, kinky - see my tags. They were both willing to give each other their fantasies and even the vanilla sex was racy. Everything they did was consensual and if they started down a path the other wasn’t comfortable with, they were so in tune with the other that they’d just change paths.

After Isaac made Reb feel like so much less (when it was him, not her), the way Eric adored her and always told her she was beautiful - gave her back her self-esteem. She’d already been on death’s doorstep, she wanted to live life to the fullest and Eric was going to be with her every step of the way.

I loved this book. How special was matching duet tattoos. Awwww!

Bummers? No menage :(

5 screaming in pleasure, mind blowing, orgasmic stars!

On stage, on tour, in bed, they’ll rock your world

Wicked Beat is filled with scorching hot, sensual scenes that will melt your panties and turn you on so much you’ll turn into pile of mush. Every page is written specially for erotica fans, who won’t be disappointed by this fast paced, hardcore read.

Wicked Beat is another erotica novel in Sinners Series. This time Eric Sticks the kinky, but shy drummer meets his perfect match, Rebekah. Now, together they can explore they sexuality and push the limits of theirs comfort zones. You can expect voyeurism, role plays, threesome with Trey and way much more. Wicked beat as the title say is just as wicked you can imagine!

The love and blossoming relationship between Eric and Rebekah is just as great as sex. Thanks to Olivia Cunning you can finally see more of Eric and find out his most hidden secrets as well as see a female dealing with problems that are close to every women. Rebekah’s issues gave me a chance to think more about psychological aspect of sex.

“Show me that you want me, Eric,” she whispered. “Show me”

Overall, Wicked Beat will wake up your naughty parts, take you on sexual journey with rock stars and will definitely become one of your cherished fantasies.

Rating: A- ... Heat: Sizzling

From the moment Eric Sticks first got his perv on in Backstage Pass, a hot little scene with Brian and Myrna, I was all about the Sinners drummer (although, there is an even hotter scene with Eric, Aggie, and Jace in Hot Ticket). More than a little bit odd, and always saying the craziest things, I could tell there was so much hidden underneath all that. A loneliness. A vulnerability. And, well, his unusual charm combined with his pervy tendencies made me fall for him completely. The woman who gets Eric, deserves him, should be a special kind of woman.

And, at first, I did not think that woman should be Rebekah. In the beginning, she was all, "Ooh, Trey, I want Trey. Trey is soo sexy," and it brought out my inner witch. Don't get me wrong, Trey is sex on a stick, but she had Eric Sticks right in front of her. Doing the most charming darn things. Saying the most outrageously sweet and sexual things. (I have adored Eric from the first book… I mentioned that, right? *wink*) Thankfully, Rebekah clues in fast (though not quite as fast as I’d have preferred). Once I got to know her, her past and her struggles, she really became one cool chick. Sassy but shy, Reb has a tender heart and is exactly what Eric needs.

What Eric needs… well, Eric needs love and affection and some TLC. Reb gives him that and a whole lot more. These two get up to some very salacious and naughty stuff. They take the phrase ‘sexual healing’ and reinvent it. Every fantasy either one has, they explore it—from naughty nurses to misbehaving French maids. And while they're doing it, they sooth a lot of old hurts that both of them have.

But in between the fantasies, reality keeps intruding. The most annoying intrusion being Reb’s mother. Fanatical and almost rabidly judgmental, the woman was a serious downer every time she showed up. The way she talked down to Eric, the devious things she did, combined with the way Reb and her family just let her… Well, it put my hackles up. As did Rebekah’s interactions with her ex. Both had me seeing red. Poor Eric. Rebekah does finally find her spine and speak up but, dang, the family drama was almost a mood killer.

In Wicked Beat, Eric Sticks becomes so much more than the playful voyeur we’ve seen in the previous books. I loved seeing him become a sexy and mischievous lover, instead of just the guy watching from the sidelines. Reb brought out a softer, more vulnerable side to him that made me love him even more. There is a world of hurt buried inside Eric Sticks and I loved seeing it disappear, page by page. Plus there’s the fact that this book is, no holds barred, sinfully hot. Wicked Beat is perverted in all the right ways.

Favorite Quote:

He wanted her. Rebekah. Wanted to watch her touch herself again. Damn, that had been so hot. He’d seen a lot of things in his day, well, mostly his nights, but watching Rebekah pleasure herself had turned him on like nothing in his experience. He didn’t only want to watch her though. He wanted to touch her. Kiss her. Taste her. Smell her. Hold her. Laugh with her. Cry with her. He wanted her.

Sorry to say that this was my least favorite in the Sinners on Tour series. A bit disappointing since Eric has been so memorable throughout this series, and is one of my favorites of the guys! He has always been the one guy to bring a smile to my face, with his humor, quirkiness, lightheartedness and his enthusiasm to join in on any fun in the bedroom :D

So why oh why wasn’t there a better heroine for him?!?!?!?! I just did not get Reb. When the story first starts, after having had a hysterectomy and having been dumped by her boyfriend Isaac, she wants to feel desired and beautiful. I get that, I could understand that. She ultimately wants Trey but finds that she’s also attracted to Eric. So she comes on to Eric to feel better about herself and try to get over her insecurities before going for Trey. And that was just the beginning…I just really hated the way that she went about things and she annoyed me more and more as the story went along.

So let’s be honest here. We don’t read these books for their compelling story lines. We love the interactions of the guys in the group, but we read these books for the smut – the raunchy, raw, dirty sex scenes that Olivia Cunning is so fantastic at writing. Surprisingly I found myself just wanting to get through those scenes because I wasn’t really feeling them. Granted Reb got Eric in a way that no one else did and they did seem perfect for one another at times. And I did enjoy the playfulness and fun that they were having together (in the beginning). But it got old real fast (especially all of those damn role-playing scenes) and I didn’t feel anything for them as a couple. I felt that their connection lacked any depth or real significance. Of course it didn't help that there wasn't much plot to the story. But, that may be just me!

It’s always a bit of a negative if a secondary character is more memorable than the main couple (although I still love Eric alone), but Trey stole the show for me. He is THE MAN!! So on to Trey’s story for me. I hope it doesn’t disappoint!

I love this series Eric Sticks was not my favorite member of Sinners in the other books I felt that he played too much and I didn't like him picking on Jace with that being said I loved this book. Eric was just what Rebekah Blake needed although I did feel at times she was too needy. Reb took over for her brother Dave after he was injured in the bus crash in the last book she has just went into remission for uterine cancer and her gay boyfriend broke up with her because she didn't feel right having sex so he made her think it was her fault. Eric Sticks as never been loved all his exes used him his mother left him when he was four and no one wanted to adopt him. Eric also has a lot of insecurities, which was something I never saw coming. This made him so endearing to me. I am beyond thrilled that he finally found his perfect match in Rebekah. Rebekah saw Eric for who he was: funny, sexy, and amazing. She not only accepted his goofy nature, complete lack of verbal filter, and constant honesty, she embraced it. Rebekah and Eric complemented each other in every way. And their playfulness, it was so cute. Eric and Reb had a few things to overcome like all the other couples her job is the first one the other sound broad operator doesn't want her their so he tries to sabotage her work. Her mother who is crazy doesn't want her with Eric and she takes a break from reality because she wants her to be with her ex Isaac who Trey knew was gay and decided to help Eric out by sleeping with him. I did feel bad for him because his father disowned him and Trey broke his heart. I must say this book was very funny and sexy they had a lot of sex and Reb did help Eric with his problem of being too sensitive personally I would have been pissed about the 1 minute man routine. This book was well written like the rest of the books in this series.

I have a new favorite Sinner! I have been not so patiently waiting for Eric's book to come out and I was honored to get an advanced copy of Wicked Beat. This book was everything I hoped it would be and more! Eric gets his HEA with a wonderful heroine, who is a great addition to the Sinners' family. Rebekah has had her fair share of heart breaks and Eric was just the guy to help put her back together. I could not get enough of this book, and would love to see a "Sinners: Where Are They Now?" book sometime in the future from Ms. Cunning. This book has the sweet romantic factor and of course in true Sinner style the heat factor is off the charts! Fans of the Sinners series will love this new addition, and newcomers will be grappling for the older books. One of my favorite things about Olivia Cunning's writing style is she always takes it a step further. This book could have easily ended about two thirds of the way through, but the last third brings closure to most, if not all of the story lines, and gives the reader more of a story than most authors offer.Ms. Cunning never closes the curtain at "Yes, I forgive you and I love you!" She always gives those extra scenes to show there is life after happily ever after, and not in a cheesy epilogue fashion either. This book is definitely being filed on my re-read shelf! For those who want more of Olivia Cunning's amazing writing make sure to check out her One Night with Sole Regret series, it is just as fabulous as the Sinners!
