The Eldest son of Lord Umber and Elder brother to Hother Umber, he has one surviving child Coltyn with his Wife Hariana Umber nee Glover.

Loud, strong, and quick tempered Orsic Umber is a man feared in the North. Ever since he was a boy everyone knew he was going to be a brutal man, he was a fast learner, handy with an axe and foul mouthed and tempered. as a boy he was the biggest of the lot, the fastest and most skilled. He and his Younger brother didn’t see eye to eye as kids, Hother was always kind and chivalrous while Orsic was wild and a bit of a brute. He resented his brother for a long time when he went to train under the legendary Brienne of Tarth and challenged his brother in a fight upon his return home, that was how he lost two of his fingers.

True to his blood and after a few more scraps, he made amends with his brother and they grew a strong bond. When their father died Orsic was tempted to pass off his claim to Hother, but he insisted that Orsic was who his father would have wanted and it was his right, Hother was content to serve his family. The next big fight they ever had was over Hother’s love for Glisselda Hornswood. They both knew how how insane she was rumored to be and Orsic had no issue with stating how poor of a choice she was, how mad and crazy Glisselda was. He had no respect for her and even called her a witch. However undeterred his brother married her anyway and they soon had a daughter, while Orsic and his wife Hariana struggled to have a living Heir. Panic set in and he eventually apologized to his brother and his wife for his behavior, even though he still found her very odd.

Orsic loves his son and takes pride in the man he is becoming, despite the heart ache of loosing his Yoren and Nora. But he pushes the loss deep down and rarely ever speak of them so they just remain ghosts in the Hall of the Last Hearth. He Knew Early on that he wanted Hariana Glover to be his wife and while it took some convincing and a few nasty spats between them, he eventually won her over and she has proven to be the greatest decision he has ever made. Free to spend his time with his men he knows the keep is safe in his wife and brothers capable hands. And when War raises, should the day ever come, House Umber will be ready to stand tall and proud just as it has done since the days of the first men.

Born the Eldest of four children and then left motherless after the fourth Hariana Glover was a woman you never wanted to anger. Taking her mother’s place as a parent took a heavy hit into her personality. Lord Glover a poor excuse for a father and an even lousier drunk left his eldest daughter to practically run the keep since she was Ten years old. Had it been anyone else House Glover would have floundered. However Hariana has a distinct knack for ruling a very heavy hand when it comes to ruling and she remained a stern callous woman until she married, which seemed to soften ever so slightly.

Orsic Umber asked her hand in marriage twenty years ago, and she gave him a son her pride and joy Coltyn two years after their marriage. The first two died far too young barely older then babes. Yoren was a sturdy baby that came into the world squalling and fussing, a true Umber to his core, but the gods stole him away in the night and he died silently. Heart broken They soon had Nora a sweet toddling child full of smiles, but her veins were thin and she had a brain hemorrhage after knocking her head a bit too hard on a table, there was nothing that could be done to save her. Once more LAdy Umber was crushed and her heart grew more and more bitter. Orsic became enraged at the gods cursing them for taking his children, Hariana blamed herself. When Coltyn was born the whole castle made an effort to see him through his first two years of life, both Yoren and Nora ding around that age.

The Morning he was born was cold and rainy, he came in silent not a peep came from his lips even when the maesters poked and pinched. he was a quiet baby frail and dark haired. Both Orsic and Hariana Feared the worst and they wept that day knowing he wouldn’t live. Much to their surprise Coltyn put on weight fast and grew stronger, though he was by no means a rough and tough child like the other boys he was happy and healthy, and considering their past Lord and Lady Umber were just happy to have a living child. As the years passed and he approached his third Nameday Gliselda had a vision of him in shining armor on horse back proud,wide and strong. Taking this as a good omen the tight watch on Coltyn was relaxed and the boy started learning to fight and ride.

Proud and content with her Life Hariana does not leave Last Hearth often, her husband more charismatic than she. She manages the keep and finances on his behalf and runs an efficient household. a good mother and still as firm as she has always been no one can doubt her place as a true Umber.

Lord Haenes Vaith | Sixteen Years Old | Heir of The Red Dunes | Unmarried | Open | BooBoo Stewart

Born the Fourth and youngest son to Lord daemon and Lady Morra, he had three elder brothers Caemon, Fenri, and Raenor. Sadly the two elder brothers died leaving the two youngest as the soul survivors.

Haenes is every bit a opposite of his brother as you can get. Haenes is sweet and kind, with a natural desire to please and serve. He has a mild manner and gentle disposition. A nice contrast to his otherwise boisterous brother. Armed with a spear since he could walk Haenes has made a name for himself in Dorne as the Silent viper, swift and calm he has taken down men twice his size and much more skilled. Haenes is physically built different then his brother too. Raenor being tall and wide Haenes is short and thin, but his speed and strength are not to be thought lightly of.

Haenes used to be bullied by some of the other Lords in Dorne for how small he was, but that stopped shortly after he won the seasonal competition held annually. Ranking second place only to Thullil Uller, a seasoned war veteran and deadly killer. Haenes takes his duty as Heir seriously, mostly because he does not believe his brother will serve as a good Lord or ever find a suitable wife. He has taken it upon himself to over see many of the goings on in Red Dunes and even travel around Dorne to make allies with other houses and Merchants. He has extended his helping hand to the Manwoodys’, but so far he has not heard much and wonders if the rumors are true. If Kingsgrave is just run by ghosts. Haenes is a devout follower of the Seven, but is very open minded and curious about the world around him.

Lord Zachary Oakheart | Twenty-Seven years Old | Lord of Old Oak | Unmarried | Open | Face Claim Evan Peters

Lord Zachary Oakheart is the second son of the late lord Ross Oakheart and the current lord of Old Oak. Lord Zachary is a rather disturbed young man he is plagued by nightmares and restless nights. The maesters say this is the product of the deaths of his father Ross, older brother Raymond, and the stresses of becoming a lord with very little warning. Though Zachary has a very strong sense of justice and has ruled his families lands very efficiently 

Zachary was always close to his father and older brother growing up he was always at Raymond’s side. The two boys were almost inseparable. That was until the night of his brother’s murder. Zachary’s only memories of that night was being woke by the screams of his mother and father when he left his chambers he saw his brother’s body being carried in by a guard covered in blood. No one ever found the killer, but Zachary has become obsessed with finding out who brought about his brother’s death and bringing them and anyone else involved to justice. 

Since becoming Lord of Old Oak Zachary has been able to track down leads who have given him information on the men who have killed his brother, and even the reason for his death. Many say it is due to gambling debts, though that is a strange accusation for Raymond to be accused of.

Lord Asher would rise up to support the Royal family again during Euron’s Rebellion. After the war Lord Asher settled down with his wife who bore him two son’s Edrick and Brandon. soon after Edrick’s birth Asher’s health slowly declined until his death two years ago followed by his wife.

Unlike his brutish brother, who seems to love their home, Brandon has always had a dislike to their family’s home and has been a rather gentle soul through the years. Brandon had always leaned more towards southern culture, perhaps a trait that he picked up from his mother. He has always been very inquisitive and curious something his father said would kill him if he wasn’t careful. Brandon has always dreamed of being in the employ of the Master of Laws or Whispers in the capital to aid in investigations, trials, and interrogations something that would allow him to experience southern life and put his curious nature to use. At the same time he is open to other career opportunities in the South as long as it takes him far from Ironrath.

Edrick Forrester is a strong willed Northerner much like his father. Edrick does not only have his father’s Northern spirit, but also his temper. Edrick prefers to focus on the economics that comes with ruling as it has always bored him and leaves finances up to his maester.  At the Urging of his brother and council Edrick has been looking for a wife to settle down with and after some surprised prompting from The Bane house, he has agreed to marry the youngest daughter Rose, though he has never met her, or knows much of her and the House in general. He is determined to make it work, both in fear of the legendary Daphne’s wrath and hope for his family line and restoring it from its bleak past.

Beric has always been the number one child in Lord Orys’s eyes. born a surpise and welcomed joy he has been kept a close eye on his whole life. a sword put in his hand from a young age Beric Dreams of being a knight like the heroes of Westeros. Beric was a jolly child always of high spirits, though he has grown up to be a bit arrogant now.

Because his father has spoiled him Beric walks around like he owns the place and while the act is cute in the Stormlands he is going to be facing a challenge when he is shipped North to Squire under Lady Rowyn Bane. A woman known for her strength and loyalty. Orys sent a Raven to her a week ago in hopes she would teach his son her families fighting style, hoping his son will become well rounded and educated.educated. Beric is looking forward to his time a squiring thinking it will be easy and come naturally to him.

Edlest Daughter of Lord Orys and Lady Joyce Dondarrion, Elder sister of Beric and Jordayn.

Robin is a sweet young Lady with a gentle heart and gentle hand. She is very smart and well mannered. Taught to dance since she was very little Robin is always looking for a reason to dance and sing. often found in the yard weaving flower crowns and humming to the kitchen staff’s children. Robin is everything that is expected of her and more. She loves the sunlight and dresses. However She has a very strong sense of justice and does not like cruelty.

Robin looks just like her mother and absolutely adores her father. It was said when she was was little she told her mother she would marry Orys. Though it never would be it was still adorable. Robin is very hospitable and patient and loves children, often reading to Jordayn or Beric. She normally buries herself in books and knows a lot about the seven kingdoms. She loves visiting the capitol and travels with her father every times he goes. Robin really likes Princess Saerella and when she visits will eat sweets and play games with her, though she is getting a bit too old for that now.

Presently her father has been speaking of marrying her off, though he hopes to marry her to the Crown Prince Robin doesn’t think it will work out. After all she is just Robin of House Dondarrion, and he is a noble, handsome kind Prince. Still she would be happy to marry a nice man who treats her well and spend her days happily being the Lady of a keep and mother to a couple of children

Lady Joyce Dondarrion nee Swann | Twenty-eight Years Old | Lady of Black Haven | Married to Orys Dondarrion | Taken | Face Claim Caitlin Stasey

Joyce Dondarrion is the wife of Orys Dondarrion and mother of Robin,Beric and Jordayn. Originally from House Swann Joyce grew up a very mischievous lady. The only child of Ser Donnel Swann before his untimely passing, Joyce was raised mostly by her Elder Brother Allister before he died in the battle of Blood river. She was 14 when he died and he left her heart broken having been so close to him.

Joyce however never let things get her down and she pushed through learning to be a polite young woman. A match was made for her early on to a Penrose boy but he too died shortly later in the war during a sack of Kingslanding. seeming to be the most unlucky Lady Joyce began to fear for her home. She ran away from the keep, only to be returned home by the handsome Orys Dondarrion. She fell in love with his broad shoulders and dark hair, somber blue eyes and cheeky grin, that it was no surprise she gave her maidenhood to him late one night in the cool summer.

Orys Promised his heart to her and they returned to Black Haven, she know with child, it was of luck that she was so early on that no one bothered to crunch the numbers to figure out her child was conceived out of wedlock. they married shortly after and have been happy since. She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl she named Robin, who is the spitting image of her mother with golden eyes and chocolate colored hair. Orys fell in love with the small child instantly, later on Beric was Born, however he was a surprise to Orys since he was doing work out at see For Steffon Tarth. He was conceived the night before Orys departed, and Born three month before his return. Joyce knew how much Orys loved his father and named the lad Beric. Orys Wept when he was greeted at the docks by his wife, daughter, and his infant son. He fell to his knees and clung to Joyce’s skirts when she told him she named his son Beric. Jordayn was another surprise child born a year after his brother Beric, and he is every bit as wild as his uncle Allister.

Joyce is a very loving mother, and very dutiful wife, though she does cause much mischief among the castle. she had a bit of an unlucky streak and can be rather clumsy. She like to play the harp and sing, as well as a fondness for cat, which has lead to the castle being overrun by tiny kittens. Joyce and Marie Tarth have become good friends over the years and hope to marry Beric and Cassana someday.

Oyrs Dondarrion is the only son of Beric Dondarrion. a child of ten years when Eddard Stark sent his father to the Riverlands. Orys had always been a well mannered man. But the death of his father gave him a heavy heart, and for many years he did not show his face in public, choosing a life of solitude. (This is in reference to his second death in the Riverlands during the war of five kings. Beric had been brought back too many times that he was more beast then man and was put to death and reported to have died nobly in combat instead of put down like a crazed dog. ) However his mother forced him out of the castle, and told him not to return until he had found himself, acting like a heart sick fool would only shame Beric’s memory.

Orys Left home when he was 16 years old and returned 2 years later with a woman named Joyce Swann, a young maiden of 16 years. he met her on his travels through the Stormlands and Riverlands. retracing his fathers foot steps. They fell in love and when they arrived to Black haven she was already with child. They were wed almost immediately and no one ever knew of the child's rocky origins. Joyce gave birth to a baby girl they named Robin and two years later a son named Beric in honor of his father. Shortly after he was surprised once more with a Son named Jordyn.

When he returned home Orys was a changed man, wise and firm but grounded. he no longer was chasing shadows but accepted his fathers passing with grace and is now at peace with the world. Orys has a gift for map making and scouting, he is also very handy on horse back and with a pike. he is a noble leader but does not tolerate betrayal or threats to his family. He is very loyal to the crown and Lord Steffon of Tarth. he has promised to marry his son to Lady Marie of Tarth daughter Cassana. Though currently it is just talk, but Orys is hopeful, he also hopes to marry his daughter Robin to Crown Prince Rhaegon, but he has been waiting for the right time to speak with the king on such matters.

The only living child of Orsic and Harianne Umber. His elder brother Yoren  died shortly after he was born, and his sister Nora had a brain hemorrhage when she was little. His parents had been so worried when he was born, but the Maester assured them he would grow strong and after Glisselda had a vision of him in armor on horse back older and strong they relaxed a bit.

Coltyn didn’t start out as a normal boy, always wanting to sing and dance instead of play in the mud and his parents began to worry, but after awhile he started showing more interest in swordsman ship and soon was wielding a hammer and riding bare back. Coltyn now still loves to sing and play music but he is a lot like his father. Coltyn is a great rider and a determined young warrior, he deals out a lot of the justice that need be carried out on his lands and helps his uncle and father out as often as he can. Coltyn is fawned over by the ladies of the North due to his gentlemanly nature, something he picked up from his uncle, yet he can be a bit of a brute when he wants to be. He is pretty good friends with Edrick Forrester as the have spent much of their time training together.

Myrand Snow is the Bastard daughter of Meera Reed and an unknown lord. She has one Elder Sister Merina and one Younger Sister Ava.

No one was every really sure who her father was, in fact many of the staff do not even recall Meera being pregnant with her, but this was not surprising considering Meera did not show herself much after Merina’s birth, and most assume she is Merina’s twin though biologically shes not. Myranda was never bothered by this anyway. She was too busy exploring the swamps and getting into trouble. Loved by her family she often times forgets she is even a bastard. as do most people.

Myranda is Closets to Merina though she did like Ava. Myranda however is more likely to be found in a dress unlike her sister, Myranda ha settled a bit but is still deadly even in a dress. when she was a little girl Myranda was bit by a poisonous snake found near her home, and though they got the poison out in time to save her life, it has left her half deaf. Though to talk and see her you would never know. Myranda does not like people approaching her on her deaf side and has been known to pull a blade on people for doing so. She once pulled a knife on Harmon, and to this day he still bares the scar on his neck from wear her blade pressed to his throat.

Myranda is a good aunt and strong capable fighter, uninterested in marrying a noble lord, she prefers drinking with her men and spending knights in whore houses. Myranda’s greatest pride is of how she killed an alligator with her bare hands and a small dagger. she is a silent killer, and great hunter. To challenge her to a game in the swamps could mean your death, for she is able to disappear without a trace and slit your throat before you ever even knew she was gone.

From the day she was Born Claire Estermont has been a beautiful girl. born on a stromy night in the spring, she has two younger brothers Cressen and Jaymes.

Claire was a very sweet child growing up, but for all her politeness she always had a very strange energy about her. Claire is the kind of woman who can walk into a room and charge it full of energy good or bad depending on her mood. She is also rumored to be the most beautiful woman in all the Stormlands. Though she has turned down every man who had ever asked for her hand, she promised herself she would marry one man and one man only.

Steffon Tarth had been the first boy to ever dance with her, the first boy to show her kindness out of genuine kindness and not in hopes of marrying her. Because of this she has been in love with him and will marry no man but him, even if that means growing up to be an old crown.The problem she faces is Steffon rarely leaves Stormsend.

Claire loves her family very much and has worked hard to assure Jaymes got to squire under a great knight, and Cressen had everything he needs. Very family oriented, in nature. In her current years Claire can show a bit of a bitter or indifferent side which some people get rubbed the wrong way. Claire has a fondness for fish and has a glass bowl with fish of different colors in her room and through out Eastermont, including her favorite treasure a turtle named waves

Lord Thorne Anderlos Bane The first Prince of Ib Knight of Westeros. The would be Targaryen.

Brave, loyal, kind, wise and fair. Thorne the beloved hand of the king and closest friend to King Aegon Targaryen. the people of Westeros speak of no better hand. intimidating as he is gentle Thorne is all but a king.

The only child of Hother and Glisselda Umber she is often called the Gentle Umber.

From the day she was born all Ayls has ever known in unwavering love and warmth. Both her parents adored her and loved her without condition. Because of this Ayls considers herself very blessed and very lucky to be so wanted and cared for. She is compassionate and kind, with a soft voice and gentle hands. Ayls tending to the injured and wounded, human or animal. she knows how to use a weapon of course she is still an Umber, but she prefers to help the weak and injured.

She has a very good relationship with her parents, adoring and worshiping her father, who has been everything a good father should be. he taught her to ride and use a weapon. taught her to sing and play games. he would even play little girl games with her as a child, even if his guards teased him for it. She loves her mother and finds her visions and stories fascinating. she knows people thinks her mother is mad, and while they are not fully wrong, she brushes it off. happy to hold her hand when she weeps, hold her when she screams and singing her a song to calm her from her rages. Ayls is a dutiful daughter with a very kind soul.

Ayls does like to travel unlike her mother. she loves riding her horse and visiting her liege lords and fellow Northern men. She likes to see the capitol too. sometimes getting a glimpse of Princess Rhaella and Saerella. Ayls grew up next to her cousin Coltyn whom is the pride and joy of the Umber name.but for all her happiness she does have one weakness that she doesn’t like. She has a very serious looking face. and sometimes she worries no one will ever love her, because she looks so much like her grandparents and the Umber line. a gentle rose in a body of Thorns.

Glisselda Umber nee Hornwood | Thirty-Four | Lady in the North | Married to Hother Umber | Open | Face Claim Eve Myles

Glisselda Umber is perhaps the most misunderstood woman in the north. When she was Glisselda Hornwood she was wild and highly religious. She was never a lady of proper ideas. Always in pants and mud in her hair, covered in grim head to toe. Glisselda felt more at home throwing stones and swinging sticks then she ever felt in a dress and shoes. When she was a young maiden she ran away to the gods wood and vowed to become a voice for the gods.

Most thought her crazy, she always saw the world in a very different view and perhaps they were right. Glisselda has fits of terror along with visions and hallucinations, thought they come and go. She says she can hear the voices of the old gods, but many do not believe her save her husband and child. Glisselda met Hother Umber when she was 15 years old and they would be married later that year with a child on the way. Hother had heard the stories about Glisselda, but he never believed she was crazy, and he loved her once he got to know her. Glisselda fell in love with Hother almost immediately, the first man to show any interest in her and to show her kindness.

She gave him a daughter Ayls, before the Maesters told her another child would kill her. Her body too fragile to carry another infant. though it saddened her she devoted her life to caring for Ayls and Hother. though she is no normal wife by any means., she has skills in archery and riding as well as throwing knives. she knits and sews too. Glisselda does not like to leave her home in Last hearth and prefers to remain there,while her husband is away, but she has been known to show up when it is important.

Lady Lollys Rosby | Sixteen Years Old | Handmaiden to princess Rhaella |  Unmarried | Open | Face Claim Bonnie Wright

Lollys is one of the sweetest Ladies of court, polite and courteous she is well liked. She arrived in Kingslanding when she was thirteen to serve as a handmaiden to Princess Rhaella. Since the day they met they have been inseparable, always seen talking or reading together. Lollys like to sew and sing while Rhaella reads or listens in. The two also spend much of their time traveling back and forth between Summerhall and the Red keep.

Lollys always had a crush on Prince Aerion but when his betrothal was announced to another girl she cried and felt heart broken. Rhaella assured her they would find her the perfect husband, and though it didn’t ease the pain, she did smile at the idea of having a strapping young man for a husband. Maybe she would marry a soldier or knight.

Lollys can be a bit bull headed at times, but she is clever and kindhearted, she believes in justice and doing whats right, even when it is hard. A trait she inherited from her father. Between her and Gylles she has a better understanding of what is going on with her father. Lollys though she wasn’t close with him, still fears and feels the loss she knows is coming. taking it on her shoulders to be strong.
