Behavior Not Well-Done In Steakhouse Leads to Stamford Man's Arrest
The suspect is accused of becoming violent after management of a Greenwich steakhouse asked him to leave the eatery.
An “evening long tirade” at the upscale Gabriele’s Italian Steakhouse in Greenwich escalated into a fight after restaurant management asked the offending patron “to leave after numerous complaints from guests,” ended with a Stamford man’s arrest, according to Greenwich Police.
The patron’s arrest came about 12:30 a.m. Sunday, March 1 after several officers responded to the Church Street restaurant on “the report of a violent, disruptive patron refusing to leave when asked by management,” according to a police report.
Officers found the patron “engaged in an evening long tirade of belligerent, inappropriate behavior that resulted in the restaurant’s management asking him to leave after numerous complaints from guests,” according to the report.

Police said that Rocky J. Guarnieri, 45, of 27 White Birch Ln., Stamford, “instigated a violent physical altercation with several other patrons that had to be broken up by the responding officers and continued to be aggressive and disruptive afterwards,” according to the report.
Guarnieri was charged with second-degree breach of peace and released on a written promise to appear March 9 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
