Jamaal Charles down on himself for third-quarter fumble

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Observed and heard in the locker room after the Kansas City Chiefs' 24-20 victory against the Seattle Seahawks at Arrowhead Stadium:

Charles down: Jamaal Charles was still down on himself after losing a fumble in the third quarter that led to a Seattle touchdown. He bounced back with a 47-yard run in the final period that set up the Chiefs’ go-ahead score. “I always come back harder [after a fumble]," Charles said. “It makes me hungry. I’ve got to learn to go down. I think I was doing too much. I think I was trying to be like Marshawn [Lynch]."

Back to haunt Seattle: Ron Parker was cut by Seattle five times, so the victory was particularly sweet for him. “This is everything I dreamed of," the Chiefs cornerback said. “I’ve been waiting for this for a long time."

Healthy outcome: The Chiefs reported no injuries from the game. That’s big given the fact they play Thursday night against the Raiders in Oakland.
