The Gaga guide on how to be a Liza look-a-like
AT FIRST glance, one could be forgiven for thinking that the lady behind the dark pixie haircut is legendary actress Liza Minnelli.
But the photograph is of a very different lady - Lady Gaga.
The pop singer paid tribute to the iconic entertainer by copying her famous hairstyle and dramatic make-up.
In 2011 she gave a shout out to Liza who was in the audience for one of her shows
She finished off her startling look with a high-necked black cloak-style dress and matching pointy heels as she left her apartment in New York.
Lady Gaga, 28, recently wrapped up her ArtRave: The Artpop Ball tour in Paris.
But she showed no signs of exhaustion as she stepped out with a smile in the US.
The controversial songstress is a huge fan of Liza, 68, daughter of late star Judy Garland.
In 2011 she gave a shout out to Liza who was in the audience for one of her shows, telling fans she looked up to the American singer and dancer, before asking them to give her a standing ovation.
Afterwards Liza went backstage where the pair met and posed for photographs.
"She's into the Madonna thing: shock value," Liza later said.
"And it works. But the girl has a big talent."
