Vittorio Pavesio is an Italian comic book artist and publisher. He began his career in 1977 by publishing some caricatures in the monthly Il Nostro Tempo. In the following year, he created the character 'Lockness' with Alberto Setzu. He has worked as a designer and storyboard artist for Ferrero, Mattel Toys and Fischer Price, and has contributed to several publications by Editrice Edigamma, Paravia, Elledici and Edizioni Paoline.
He has drawn for comic publications like Dolly (Mondadori, 1983), Il Corriere dei Piccoli (Rizzoli, 1989-19930) and Dodo (Mondadori, 1998-2000). Pavesio founded his Studio 901 Cartoons Production in 1988, and his publishing label Vittorio Pavesio Productions in 1995. He is co-founder of the comics association Anonima Fumetti with Gianfranco Goria, and is one of the initiators of the annual Torino Comics festival in Turin since 1994.
