Sarah Jessica Parker hikes up her jeans
as she gets caught in a downpour during family outing with Matthew Broderick
and their daughters

Not even a bit of rain will stop Sarah Jessica Parker from keeping up with her kids.

The Sex And The City star tugged on the leg of her jeans as the drizzle came down while walking beside husband Matthew Broderick, 52, and twin daughters Marion and Tabitha on Friday.

The 49-year-old mom-of-three carefully watched her step as she navigated the rain in New York City.

The actress kept it casual for her outing, teaming a dark green-black jacket with an off-the-shoulder striped T-shirt.

She wore her honey-hued tresses down in messy curls and opted for comfort in a pair of white wedge-heel trainers with Velcro fastening.

With her eyes shielded behind a pair of shades, she kept her complexion free of any make-up, while her accessories were also limited to just a single chunky bracelet and her wedding ring.

As the rain came down, Sarah Jessica carefully guided her adorable daughter Tabitha across the street.

Both five-year-olds came prepared for the drizzle with their own pint-sized colourful umbrellas, matching pink and white spotted Hello Kitty wellies and cream raincoats featuring pink, yellow and blue polka-dots.

Later, once the drizzle came to an end, Matthew used his umbrella as a walking cane as his wife ambled beside him.
