Police say a teenager is in critical condition after a shooting at a Brownsville liquor store last night. A 20-year-old woman was also injured, and no arrests have been made yet.

The NYPD says that the shooting occurred at around 11:18 p.m. last night, at The Ville Wines and Liquor on Mother Gaston Boulevard. Witnesses say two masked men stopped in the doorway of the store and started shooting. A 19-year-old man who was purchasing a bottle of alcohol was shot in the head, and the 20-year-old woman he was with sustained a graze wound in her right ankle. "It was a store full of customers. People came in and they just started shooting," store owner Kenny Hernandez told NBC News.

Cops say both victims were transported to Brookdale Hospital. The female victim was treated and released, but the male victim is in critical condition. The Post and the Daily News both report that he is brain-dead.

Authorities say the suspects fled in a car shortly after the shooting. Cops are investigating the incident.
