50 West 23rd Street [Commercial Observer]: Two Trees Management will begin a $22 million renovation this Spring of the 14-story, 340,600 square-foot office building at 50 West 23rd Street, in the Flatiron District. James Corner is designing a rooftop outdoor space, and completion is expected later this year.

50-09 27th Street [Queens Courier]: Cushman & Wakefield is marketing the roughy 100,000 square-foot parcel spanning 50-01 – 50-09 27th Street, in Long Island City. The site contains multiple low-rise structures, and boasts 200,518 square feet of industrial buildable square footage under current zoning.

55 West 13th Street

55 West 13th Street [DNAinfo]: The New School is planning the gut-renovation and partial expansion of the nine-story, 105,000 square-foot building spanning 55-63 West 13th Street, in northern Greenwich Village. The first phase includes work on the lower levels, and will be completed in the Fall, while phase two expands the building’s top floor into a performance space.

175 Greenwich Street

175 Greenwich Street [Curbed]: Concrete core is now ascending above the previously stalled seven-story base at 3 World Trade Center, aka 175 Greenwich, in the Financial District. Silverstein expects the 80-story, 2 million square-foot commercial building to open in 2018; Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners is designing.

358 Hempstead Avenue

358 Hempstead Avenue [LI Herald]: Investor Jeff Persily has acquired the single-story commercial building at 358 Hempstead Avenue, in Malverne (southern Nassau Co.), and plans to deliver a new façade, as well as interior renovations, to the existing structure. The building will be fitted for three tenants.
