YONKERS, N.Y. – Patricia Caruso (nee Furlong) died on Sunday at the age of 76.
She was born on Dec. 30, 1937, to James and Vera Riley Furlong in Yonkers, where she attended local schools and graduated from Blessed Sacrament Academy. She worked at New York Telephone in both New York City and White Plains as a manager for 35 years, retiring in 1990.
She married Aneillo (Neil) Caruso on May 4, 1958, at St. Joseph's Church in Yonkers. He died March 1, 2014.
Caruso was a parishioner of St. Bartholomew's Church in Yonkers. She is survived by her sister Doris Capobianco; and three nieces, Phylis (Dave) Veit, Caroline (John) Brink and Gina (Ed) Kuchinski; two nephews, Robert Capobianco and Michael (Julia) Caruso. She was predeceased by her sister Kathleen Furlong and a brother James Furlong.
Burial took place at St. Joseph's Cemetery on Dec. 31.
