MODEL Cindy Crawford was amongst some of the Hollywood A-listers to be joining George Clooney and his wife-to-be at their pre-wedding celebrations earlier today.
The beautiful model, who is best freinds with Mr Clooney, seems so important to the wedding party in fact, that she was spotted riding the love boat with him and Amal Alamuddin.
The trio plus Cindy's husband soaked up the sun in a river taxi on the Grand Canal.

Cindy sat while the other three stood, taking in the spectacular sights of Italy.
While Amal and George looked dressed up for the occasion, model Cindy and her husband Rande looked much more casual.
Cindy and her husband Rande Gerber are such close friends with Clooney they have built ranches next to one another in Los Cabos, Mexico.

But Cindy and her husband were not the only famous faces on board.
George's Ocean's Eleven co-star Matt Damon and his wife Luciana were pictured jumping into a river taxi before the happy couple - presumably in town for the occasion.
While Vogue Editor in Chief Anna Wintour was also spotted making her way into the romantic city.
The fashionista was pictured arriving at the airport looking typically stylish in a green jumper and printed skirt.
Ahead of the big day Clooney and Amal will reportedly host a "casual" dinner at the Hotel Cipriani, this evening.
Keen to involved her family in the wedding, Amal's younger sister Tala will be maid of honour while the bridegroom's closest friend Rande Gerber, married to supermodel Cindy Crawford, is expected to be best man.
Earlier this month George let slip that he was to marry in Venice.
Accepting an award in Florence, he said: "I would just like to say to my bride-to-be Amal that I love you very much and I can't wait to be your husband. I met my bride-to-be in Italy, and I will be married in Italy soon, in a couple of weeks...in Venice, of all places."
In the same vein as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding earlier this year, Opera star Andrea Bocelli will perform, sources say.
