Sheltered: an art benefit for animals at risk

There are presently no open calls for submissions.

SHELTERED: an art benefit for animals at risk in our communities seeks to raise awareness of the staggering number of homeless animals who will never find shelter. The five week show runs October 10 to November 14, 2014.

Exhibition: There are two exhibit spaces within the Davis Arts Center.

  • Tsao Gallery: All art mediums will be considered (painting, drawing, photography, multimedia, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, etc.) Works can be abstract, symbolic, realistic, representational, minimalist, etc. We want to see your vision!
  • Atrium: The atrium is in the main area of the building where young children pass through to attend classes. All work accepted for this space must be two-dimensional and suitable for viewing by young children.

Silent Auction: All art will be available for sale during the exhibit and at a silent auction on Nov. 14. Asking price and minimum bid can be set by artist. If you would like to donate a piece to the auction separate from the exhibit, please select auction category.
