Rustic Mountain Wedding: Caroline + Kirk

Winter Rustic Wedding

I really love rustic winter weddings, there is something so beautiful about a bride and groom all dressed up and then wrapped up in something warm like jackets or blankets for their wedding photos. I love how this bride had her bridesmaids wear jackets with their dresses, not only does that keep the girls happy and warm but it also makes for one great picture! From the photographer: Caroline and Kirk had an amazing December wedding at the House Mountain Inn in Lexington, Virginia. Being unseasonably warm, they were able to be married outside, and were surrounded by their closest family and friends. The bridesmaids all wore lace dresses, warm tights and boots, and tan colored coats, while the groomsmen wore suits of their choosing. There were a lot of DIY elements as closest friends made burlap flowers to add to the bouquets, they had homemade desserts, and lots of thoughtful details. Thanks to Kristin Moore Photography for sharing this wedding with us today.
