TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – Cellar 49 has unwrapped its new fall and winter menu, offering seasonal favorites and new delicacies.

Some highlights include shrimp and grits, duck tacos and chocolate-dipped cheesecake lollipops. “There’s something special about exquisite cuisine that mixes classic tavern fare with a contemporary twist – that is what awaits in Cellar 49,” said John McGuirk, restaurant general manager. “The autumn and winter seasons are such an exciting time to celebrate our popular dishes and introduce new cuisine.” Appetizers include onion soup, corn chowder and lobster bisque. The entree section features smoked pork chop served with grits, chard and peach preserves, and shrimp with stone-ground grits and tasso. Guests can also try the scallops served with red lentils in a bacon, garlic and white wine sauce. The wine selection includes small-production wines such as Champagne by Savart, pinot noir by Rhys and chardonnay by Massican. Cellar 49 is at the Tarrytown House Estate on 9 E. Sunnyside Lane.
