On Oct. 26, 1984, audiences every where met The Terminator, one of the most badass examples of technological terror that ever existed. The T-800 represented humanity's crushed hopes of a bright future powered by our own electronic genius, and even today the premise is still terrifying.
Besides making me want to binge watch The Terminator and T2: Judgment Day tonight (which we should all collectively do as a species), I was thinking if there really was any robot, fictional or no, that was cooler than Arnold Schwarzenegger's villainous/heroic automaton.
So I decided to crowd source the answer. What is the most awesome robot ever? Let's leave it open for either fiction or non-fiction entries. It could be anything from Pixar's Wall-E to Boston Dynamics' Atlas. As for me, I'm going to stick with my original T-800 hunch.
