Rising Tides Alliance Thinks Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

Event raises $2,200 to help fund their free services

Rising Tides Alliance invited guests to honor National Breast Cancer Awareness Month recently, with their Think Pink event at The Olde Stone Mill in Tuckahoe, NY. The evening was in benefit for Gilda’s Club Westchester, a non-profit which lends support to anyone impacted by cancer.

Gilda’s Club of Westchester has created a free of charge, welcoming community for those living with cancer by providing support groups, education, networking and social activities for them and their loved ones. The Rising Tides Alliance is a networking group dedicated to providing opportunities to business professionals while focusing on supporting charitable causes. Through this fundraiser, they were able to put a portion of the proceeds to this great charity.

On the evening of the event, a four course dinner was served to 55 attendees while Steven Maglio performed cover songs of classic jazz musicians and Michael Powers of Arthur Murray School of Dancing staged dancing demonstrations.

The auctioned items, which included assorted gift baskets, Westchester Symphony tickets, purses and gift certificates were provided by Patty Marsibillio, Deborah Comer, Angela DiNapoli Nora Montoya, Cynthia Cristofaro, Antonee’s Gourmet Family, Don Herzog of Steve Madden, Rachele Rose Day Spa, Grand Prix New York, A.G. “How wonderful to be able to put a group of like-minded people together for a night of incredible music, dinner and camaraderie all for the great cause of fighting the disease of breast cancer,” said Perry DiNapoli, President of Antonee’s Gourmet Family.

With the help of guests, sponsors and those who donated items for auction, over $2,200 was raised by the end of the night.
