Hey! I saw your zine post but i can't find a link to any zines? Do you have gumroad?

Hi! I do, here it is: grrrenadine on Gumroad

Also, thank you for bringing to my attention that I don’t have it listed anywhere — I must have accidentally deleted it upon my latest zine update.

when did all your previously free zines become $2+? not trying to be an asshole LOL just wondering

Hi! About a year ago. My reasoning was twofold:

  1. I was in financial dire straits after moving countries. I had family helping me out, so it wasn’t a life-or-death kind of situation, but it still sucked. Literally every dollar counted. There was a day when I had to beg a client to pay an (overdue!) 40 USD invoice just so that I could ride the bus the next day without asking my relatives for cash. With that in mind, leaving those zines up for free was a luxury I couldn’t afford.
  2. Some of the zines are pretty old (one is from 2015!). The people who really wanted to get one will have gotten one by now. The rest can make do without — or pay the new exorbitant fee :)

I’m currently much better off money-wise, but I didn’t revert the prices because of reason #2. I should also note that a couple of the zines (TMA, Women in Film) are still free and will remain that way.
