Several brands of baby wipes, including Cuties, Diapers.com and brands sold at Sam’s Club, have been recalled because of possible bacterial contamination.

Nutek Disposables of McElhattan, Penn., on Saturday announced a nationwide voluntary recall after testing showed the presence of Burkholderia cepacia in some products. The tests were conducted because of “a small number” of complaints about odor and discoloration, the company said.

The bacteria poses little medical risk to healthy people, the Food and Drug Administration said in a press release about the recall.

The wipes were distributed before Oct. 21 to retail stores including Walgreens, Sam’s Club and Family Dollar.

Consumers can return the recalled wipes to the retailer for a full refund.
