Survive announced by Subsurface Games, a zombie survivor now on Kickstarter

There's just no keeping the undead hordes down. Texas-based Subsurface Games has announced a new zombie survival game is in the works as the developer asks for $60,000 through Kickstarter. It's a procedural FPS in an open world.

It's simply called Survive. We'll awaken in a random house in a procedurally generated world, and we'll have to hit the ground running in search of food, shelter and of course some firepower.

They seem to be doing good work on it, but H1Z1 is much further along, does everything this game does, and has many more features. If they want this thing to do well, they'll need features to put them ahead of the rest in an already packed subgenre.

Agreed, but is H1Z1's world procedurally generated? That's the one thing that caught my attention about this. I love zombie killing, and the perfect zombie game has yet to be released imo, so I'll keep an eye on this.

I don't believe it is. But who knows. Regardless, the fact it's procedurally generated is always a nice touch. Here's hoping this game will be good.
