The fourth Metamoris Pro Brazilian jiu-jitsu invitational went down last Sat. night (Aug. 9, 2014), live from Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, Calif., featuring renowned jiu-jitsu practitioners and mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters competing in a series of grappling "super fights."
Among them was Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight Josh Barnett, who made the most of his moonlighting by submitting world-renowned grappling phenom Dean Lister, thanks to a nasty neck crank in the Metamoris 4 co-main event.
From the GIF master himself, Zombie Prophet:
It was the first time "The Boogeyman" has been submitted in nearly 16 years.
While "The Warmaster" had a distinct advantage in size, this is still a pretty nice feather in his cap, considering the mat credentials of his opponent, plus the fact that he was a +300 underdog.
Catch as catch can, FTW.
