Here’s a tip for any waiters who get stiffed by a famous athlete: save the receipt!

A server did just that after being short-changed by Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy, and now the seemingly worthless piece of paper is bidding in the six-figure range on eBay.

The current high bid for the now-infamous receipt stands at $100,000.00, a stratospheric increase from the 20-cent tip left by McCoy on a $61.56 bill.

Ebay user “fauxrean,” who identifies himself as a friend of the owner of the Philadelphia burger joint, put the item for auction online “to ensure something positive comes out of this somewhat negative action that has recently taken place.”

“With your help we’ll be able to leave the largest tip possible to all PYT employees for their hard work and dedication.”

PYT waiter Rob Knelly originally took to Facebook to call out McCoy for his alleged stinginess and soon caught the attention of actor Charlie Sheen, who offered to give the server $1,000 for his troubles.

McCoy, for his part, also gave his side of the story and claimed he was justified in stiffing Knelly.

“I tip on my service,” the Eagles RB told reporters last week. “There’s a difference between good service and bad service and just having a bad day. There’s a big difference between just being rude and disrespectful. That’s how that went.”

Instead of teaching Knelly a lesson, however, McCoy may have unintentionally earned him a dream payday.
