Here's Nearly Everyone in Sports Who Participated in Ice Bucket Challenge
In case you've been under a rock the last week, the Ice Bucket Challenge is taking over the sports world. Here are all the videos we could find of sports figures dumping a bucket of ice water over their heads.
If Pro Wrestlers Played Football
WWE superstar Roman Reigns, who played college football at Georgia Tech, was asked to draft a fantasy football team using the WWE roster. I'd pay anything to see an actual football game against a CFL team or something like that. Make it happen, Vince!
Lovely Lady Round-Up
I have to hand it to reader Chris from Overland Park, Kan., who took this photo from a Chris Forsberg gallery, identified the woman (model Megan Belet) and wrote me requesting more photos of her. How could I possibly say no? ...Jessica Alba just keeps getting better and better looking ... Kate Upton isn't looking much different than she did at 15.
Hot Clicks Giveaway
Danica Patrick has launched her first line of REVO sunglasses and we are celebrating with a giveaway. I have two pairs of Danica's Relay glasses ("a seamless blend of engineered performance and defining style that is perfect for everyday wear because it is lightweight, comfortable and chic") and one pair of Revo's Classic Square for men ("pays homage to the original Revo aesthetic of the roaring '80s and has a throwback vintage style paired with modern optics that provides clear vision for your everyday frame") just for you. The 25th and 50th correct answer receives Danica's Relay glasses. The 75th receives the Classic Square for men. Just email me (andy_gray@simail.com) the name of the athletes featured in the Vault photo of this morning's Hot Clicks. Please make the subject line "Revo."
Update (5:41 p.m.): Contest closed. Winners will be notified. Another giveaway coming tomorrow afternoon.
Who Ate Tony Romo?
Not sure what diet Tony Romo is on these days but he's looking like he got the weight room confused with an all-you-can-eat buffet. Then again, I thought the same thing of Derek (Eater) Jeter last year but it turned out to just be a bad angle on the photo. I hope that's the case with Romo.
Kansas Has Interesting New Helmets
So Does Boise State
This Made Me Laugh
Comedian Bill Burr's Monday Morning Podcast is a must-listen in the Gray house. This week he had a great bit on how far stores will go to get your personal information (starts here at 56:40 mark). There is cursing involved so put on your headphones.
Odds & Ends
The five stages of the NFL preseason ... There is a horse named Charlie Manuel ... Vote now in the Final Four of SI's most iconic cover contest ... You can now own your own pair of Nick Collison's blood-stained sneakers ... Anthony Davis looked rather interesting while filming his new Boost Mobile ad ... A Cowboys fan already got a 2015 World Champion tattoo inked on his arm ... Wired has an excellent profile of Edward Snowden, the most wanted man in the world ... The funniest photos of 2014 ... This tattoo is over 2 million years old.
