If you’re up for taking a trip down memory lane, this new Flickr photostream has got you covered. The Internet Archive teamed up with a researcher to upload images from its collection of scanned public domain books.
Currently, the collection features 2.6 million of the 14 million total photos in the archive. The image entries also include the text before and after the image, so the photoset is quite searchable. If you want to read the book, there’s a link to the Internet Archive’s ebook viewer in each photo’s description.
Since the images are already in the public domain, they’re posted with the Creative Commons license. The organization plans to add to the collection daily as it scans new books.
