Belle and Sebastian Share "Nobody's Empire" Video

Belle and Sebastian have shared the video for "Nobody's Empire", from the band's forthcoming Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance album. Directed by Blair Young and Stuart Murdoch, it features actress Tamzin Merchant (who appears on the album's cover) standing in for Murdoch, singing against clips of submitted by the group's fans as well as archival footage taken from the Scottish Screen Archive at the National Library of Scotland and the Prelinger Archive. You can see the song's lyrics in the video's YouTube description. In a press release, Murdoch called it the most personal song he's ever written.

Previously, they shared the video for "The Party Line"Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance is out January 20.
