Traffic getting heavy on parts of NLEX as Undas exodus peaks

Traffic grew heavy on parts of the North Luzon Expressway as the yearly exodus for Undas (All Saints' and All Souls' Days) began to peak before noon Friday.

 

As of 11:14 a.m., the NLEX website showed traffic heavy at the northbound part of Mindanao Avenue, though the southbound traffic was light.

 

NLEX also said traffic was moderate to heavy at the northbound part of Dau, before the Subic Clark Tarlac Expressway.

 

Traffic was light at the southbound part of NLEX.

 

The exodus is expected to peak after noon, as Filipinos knock off from work to head for the provinces to pay respects to their departed loved ones. — Joel Locsin/RSJ, GMA News
