Financial Expert Jean Chatzky to Keynote Women in Business Awards Luncheon in Tarrytown

914INC., a Westchester Magazine publication, has announced that Jean Chatzky, Financial Editor for NBC’s Today show, will be the keynote speaker at its 5th annual Women in Business Awards luncheon on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014. This year’s 18 honorees will be announced in the magazine’s upcoming Q4 issue, available October 23, 2014.

Each year, 914INC.’s Women in Business Awards pay tribute to a select group of female executives and entrepreneurs who were nominated during a two-month open nomination period. The magazine’s editors vet all nominees and choose a distinct group of Westchester County women who have demonstrated a consistent level of success in their respective fields and have made a lasting impact both on the economy and in their communities. The magazine will recognize 18 winners in four categories: entrepreneurs, executives, non-profit leaders, and government leaders.

The 2014 Women in Business winners will be honored at a sit down luncheon on Thursday, November 20 at the Doubletree by Hilton, Tarrytown, NY. Jean Chatzky, the financial editor for NBC’s TODAY show, is an award-winning personal finance journalist, AARP’s personal finance ambassador, and a contributing editor for Fortune magazine. Ms. Chatzky is a best-selling author; her most recent books are Operation Money, a free financial guide for military service members and families; and Money Rules: The Simple Path to Lifelong Security. In April 2013 Ms. Chatzky launched Jean Chatzky’s Money School, a series of college-style, interactive online personal finance courses that give men and women across the country the opportunity to learn from and interact directly with her. She lives with her family in Westchester County, New York.
