"You Learn By Finishing Things"

Writer Neil Gaiman is no stranger to finishing things, but he certainly has struggles with it from time to time. His biggest piece of advice to young creatives? Finish what you start because it's the only way you'll learn.

Speaking with Chris Hardwick, Gaiman's point is pretty simple. Creative work is often a slog and the only way you'll really get good at it is to finish what you start even when it's not going well. You'll end up learning from that experience more than if you quit. The whole interview is filled with great thoughts about the creative process, so be sure to listen if you're in need of some inspiration today.
