Destiny's bonus PS4 & PS3 content staying exclusive until Fall 2015 - report

Destiny developer Bungie has been cuddling up to Sony for the release of its online shooter, giving PlayStation owners a string of exclusive content not found on Xbox 360 or Xbox One. A listing by Amazon suggests that some of the content is staying exclusive until Fall 2015.

Some new Destiny PS4 footage leaked this week, but was promptly killed off. However, we managed to write up the whole thing before that happened.

Now, this Amazon listing for the PS4 version of Destiny come with a blurb that reads:

For PlayStation 4 owners, Destiny offers Early access to the Beta on July 17th, and a free 30-Day PlayStation Plus Trial.

Exclusive content for PlayStation 4 owners includes the Exodus Blue Competitive Multiplayer Map, Dust Palace Strike, Weapons, Ships and Gear that will only be on PlayStation until at least Fall 2015.

If accurate, this marks a long period of console exclusivity for the bonus content. We've shot Activision an email to see if they have anything else to add.

Stay tuned.
