I actually read the whole review and he has some solid complaints as well as some BS ones. The whole kill counter argument for single play screamed nit pick. With that being said this game deserves around this score for putting zombies behind a paywall once again the media is extra hush hush about a big name fps locking away content.

I'm not even a COD fan, but this review is pretentious garbage.

Oh god can we stop this crap? This entire gen has been filled with thoughtlessly low scores just to get hits. I get the "review inflation" that happened last gen with anything less than a 9 considered a failure, but this isn't how you counter that.

I bought this game today, and it's 7/10 for me, I mean it's cod. But now it's confused on what it does, the game play is different and I'm glad they tried to change it.

But I can't help but think this is a cross between titan fall and destiny.

The game play seems super fast, but the controls are not as tight as destiny or titan fall. Every over iteration of cod is has tight controls.

this seems jump double jump get stuck in the out of bounds, this is a different cod I can actually say destiny's crucible does it better.

I love the fact that you can see that the reviewer/submitter has gone through and disliked all the negative comments.

It's mainly a review of the single player game. Do COD fans care about single player?

Server crashes one the 360. Severe lag when You do get in. The weapons sound like cap guns. Wall to wall ledge campers. Quick scoping is even easier than Blops 2 but thankfully there's no Balista equivalent.

The co op is a waste and low effort. They put no thought I to this mode as there's really no progression other than unlocking more maps which are all mp maps.

There's not enough weapons and what is there needs balance.

The kill streaks are closer to CoD ghosts levels of worthless.

Tactical and perhaps don't resuply so it's pointless to waste a spot on them. Also, why are tactical and lethal now in the same slot?

This game isnt a 4 but it damn sure isnt 8-10 like it's been getting.

This critic is obviously catering to the internet's more vocal crowd w/ this review...

I haven't agreed with the 10/10 and 9/10 reviews that have been popping up but there is no way it is a 4/10 game. That sort of score should be given to poorly made games filled with bugs and other gameplay/control issues.

its not a review that can be taken seriously. He mentions nothing of gameplay and describes his disappointment with the story and how they throw too many new mechanics at you every level. Oh, and he mentions this is his last review for the ib times ... And he gave destiny an 8 in a previous review. Story didn't seem to bother him there .

It's a FIRST PERSON SHOOTER KNOBHEAD....How much exactly do you expect them to change up the formula???. In fact, I'd be happy to see more shooters go further back to there roots, & copy & paste what made games like Timesplitters (still the best shooter of all time), Unreal, Quake, etc, etc...

I'd love to see even the almighty COD just completely get rid of all this perk & leveling up crap...but too many COD fanboys would be butthurt by the fact that all players would be on an even playing field, & every player was on there playing for simple fun, & the fact they are playing an awesome game. Take out all this fluff from COD & all it's clones, & it would be a better game for mine... I just don't rate all this perk, level up crap... People who play the hell out of a game, & know every hiding spot, nook & cranny of levels, as that is all they ever play, really don't need any more advantages, it's as simple as that.

I thought it was a good game but the WW2 burnout pushed me away

This is one of the few I never got to play the SP on. Redbox’d ut. Multiplayer was done if the worse I’ve ever played. Maps were bad. I’ll have to go back and at least give the story a go

It's too bad the game is impossible to find games on with Xbox One and PC. It is my favorite one this generation. I love it so much! But... no one plays it. So it makes it difficult to continue enjoying it :(

I loved the Advanced Warfare campaign, thought it was great.

Great campaign, great zombie mode, and an okay multiplayer mode. Most of the multiplayer maps looked great, but I only liked 50% of them, due to the way they tried to force verticality into the gameplay. The limited edition Advanced Warfare Xbox One was a pretty slick looking console too.

I thought the campaign was a great comeback after ghosts but the mp bored me to tears.

It was also the beginning of the end for future warfare cod games at this point I didn't want blops3 because I just spent a year running around with the exosuit I wanted something new but it began a trend aw, blops3, iw before we finally got WW2 which was actually my highlight this gen as far as cod goes.

To top it off aw locked it's zombies mode behind a paywall which I found disgusting

Negative. Advanced Warfare sucked. And what do you mean "Ghosts didn't do anything new with mp"? It did a plenty new. It introduced “special orders” and completing them during a match would sometimes completely change the terrain of the battlefield.

Really? I haven’t enjoyed a COD in a minute. Is MW good? None of my mates play it anymore

I think on an overall level sure.

Blops 3 had better MP but the campaign was messy
Modern Warfare's MP has issues as i understand it but the campaign was spectacular
IW MP was crud but i highly enjoyed the campaign
Blops 4 had great MP but no campaign
Ghosts was average in both

I think AW at the very least has a solid campaign and solid MP but it's not the best in those individual areas.

I liked Infinite Warfare much better and honestly its weird for to back to this game, I enjoyed it quite a bit back when it released but considering what we now know about Kevin Spacey (an actor who I admired greatly) I don't think I can ever play it again.

Game was terrible

Modern Warfare is the best, followed by Black Ops III. Both pale in comparison to the best of the PS3/360 era.

Game is underrated. The campaign had a lot of clever, detailed map design to flow with the abilities of the various exo suits. The characters and story were pretty good too, and I was sad the game ended so soon right when things got crazy as hell at the climax. I think a sequel would've been made if so many people didn't complain about the advanced movement that they couldn't/wouldn't adapt to.

There was nothing wrong with the campaign, it was thoroughly enjoyable. But the online is a different mess.
