Barry M Gelly Pomegranate - Review & Swatches

Hello lovelies,

Sorry for taking blogging break during the weekend, I needed to catch up on swatching and relax a bit. The good news is I got a lot done, the bad news is I didn't manage to write any new posts so I'm now behind in writing...the struggles of a nail blogger :D

Today I want to share a swatch of Barry M Gelly in Pomegranate which is gorgeous raspberry red colour with glossy finish. I don't think I have reviewed Barry M Gelly before but I do like them very much and I plan to buy some more.

Barry M Gelly Pomegranate - Review & Swatches

Believe it or not, this is just one coat of Pomegranate and topcoat. It chipped after a day and a half so next time I think I'll apply two coats but my point was - it is well pigmented and one coat was nicely opaque :) The formula was easy to work with and it dried very glossy. I know that it is not necessary because we're all using topcoat anyway but it is nice to see glossy finish. The pictures with flowers were taken outside with my phone, the rest is in the lightbox. The lightbox pictures are more colour-accurate.

Barry M polishes are available at Superdrug, Boots and barrym.com. I'm listing drugstores first because very often they have offers like 3 for 2 ;) As for international sales, I'm not sure Barry M is available outside UK but feel free to correct me.

I love the photo with the flower, the colour is also really nice though. I've been tempted to buy it before but have always been afraid it will just make my hands look really pale. I might have to just buy it now though

Dekuju :) Ono mi to nejakou dobu trvaalo, nez jsem k tomuto tvaru dospela,ale jsem s nim spokojena. Na zacatku blogu jsem melado kulateho tvaru a kdyz se ted podivam na stare fotky, tak si rikam bleee :D

This nail polish looks great on you! I bought Pomegranate along with Guava last year and I love them both! I cannot believe this is one coat, I agree Barry M's Gelly collection is really pigmented! The only thing I didn't like about the Gelly's was the drying time - they took ages to dry (maybe that's just me though!) :)

I love the gellys for stamping very good alsp their textured range is really nice, I highly recommend blue grape from the gelly collection it is a favourite of mine. One of the best budget brands of polish in the uk I have found

I think I have that colours stashed somewhere, I must find it now :) I agree, Barry M is one of the best drugstore brands here in UK but unfortunately I don't own many atm. thanks for stopping by x
