If you're anything like us, you hoard nail polish more than any other beauty product. So you may as well put it to good use, right? Luckily, your prized collection is good for a lot more than DIY nail art. Below are 10 awesome, unconventional ways to use nail polish. Tell us how you use your polish in the comments below!

Paint Your Headphones
Using one or two (or more, depending on how creative you are!) of your favorite polish colors, paint your earphones to add some fun. Stick to the remote control, the plastic part of the plug, and the outer-most part of the earbud for the best results.

Organize Your Files
Keep your desk neat and tidy by organizing folder tabs by color. Simply paint the label portion of a folder with a polish color and, if you want, write over the dry paint with a marker. Store your financial papers in red-tabbed folders, coupons in blue ones, personal letters in purple folders, or use your own color-coding system!

Create a Unique Phone Case
Freehand some killer art, or just paint along the edges for a pop of color. Use masking tape to create a perfect chevron pattern, or pick up a stencil, then use the nail polish brush to fill in the gaps. However you decide to decorate your case, remember to let the paint dry before you put it back on your phone.

Differentiate Your Keys
Millions of keys on your key ring? Polish the top of each key so you can tell the difference between your house, garage, and mailbox keys.

Make Pretty Pushpins
Want to make your old-school bulletin board even more colorful? Use nail polish to paint the heads of pushpins. Or paint them all one solid color, then add white or black polka dots.
