A complex password that does not form any known word in the English language is more than secure as long as it's mixed with letters, numbers, and keyboard symbols. Avoid choosing passwords that are simple, and based upon your own perceptions and beliefs about yourself. YOUR EGO WILL GET YOU HACKED. Take simple security measures: Scan all downloaded files with an effective anti-virus; avoid downloading porn onto your hard drive, porn is often filled with trojans and spyware; avoid opening emails from unknown senders. If you feel the need to do so, scan any attachments with anti-virus/anti-spyware software. There are two anti-spyware programs available that are free and do not hog system memory, Spywareblaster and Spyware search & destroy. You don't need a degree in computer science to use them and they are fairly simply to use and they will block most harmful sites and prevent harmful software from being installed on your computer. And last but not least, DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE OR ANYTHING (SOFTWARE, APPS, PROGRAMS, OTHER PEOPLE) TO HAVE ACCESS TO ANY OF YOUR ACCOUNTS especially websites that claim to be able to manage your followers on social media sites. Sure they can manage your followers, but they also have access to any information you have posted on your page, PUBLIC & PRIVATE. You don't need a 256 bit encryption key to keep your accounts and passwords safe, you just need to use a little common sense.
I am not sure how a two step verification would work for a consoles. I mean you can only register/log into a certain amount of devices with one account before you have to deactivate them (I had this issue when my PS3 broke and I had to ring up Sony). That right there is an added level of security. Though Sony does need it for its store log in through the Web browser (but then is that going to really matter. The content can only be played on the devices).
