Man Faces Violation of Protective Order Charge


A driver stopped by Greenwich Police because his car was not registered was arrested on a charge of criminal violation of protective order.

According to a police report, the woman who was the passenger in the car when it was stopped about 2:30 p.m. Feb. 21 on East Putnam Avenue in Riverside, was the protected party named in the protective order.

Police charged Brent B. Bastien, 27, of 7 Piave St., Stamford, also was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Bastien was released after posting $500 bond and was scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Stamford.
