I appreciate games that slap me across the face when I get careless. Not every game needs to be Demons Souls, but they should respect the player enough to kill him if he is careless.

I love AC, and would wholeheartedly welcome any additional challenge they feel would be appropriate to their vision.

Day 1

I like the easy combat, i just want to play a game for the story and experience, making it really hard adds new experience, like Shadow Of Mordor, that was so hard until i learned how to play, after i got it figured out it was like i bought a second - easier game.

It felt right with Ezio that with each game release he be more of a honed combatant.

It doesn't feel right in the next few games, when you move on to new greenhorn characters that they instantly fight like masters.

Not going to lie these changes sound fantastic. Especially these lines for me.
"You had to "aim" your parry in the direction it came from and you had to time it right.
You couldn't just press it and expect him to 180° and parry.
Oh and you could do a combat roll if you press A and a direction, that was handy when you get surrounded!"

This as well... "Well you die a LOT quicker than before. I think it was about 3 hits and then he got stabbed. Also the screen didn't go super dramatic red so I didn't even notice it so much and all off a sudden I got a sword through my chest ^^.

And as for the style of fighting, usually in AC I just tend to be the stand there and wait for them to attack me kind of guy. This time I really had to pay attention to what they were doing because if they surround you it quickly goes to shit. The combat roll really helps in that aspect."

So hope all this is true. Hyped either way.

I’ve played and beaten every mainline AC game. Unity is def not even in my top 5. I had to restart it twice because it kept crashing and 2 times my file was corrupted. BARELY managed to beat it and when I did I never went back lol
4-Black Flag is still my personal favorite for the old style AC games
Odyssey is my favorite of the new style

Black Flag was the best for me. That was a AC game I sunk COUNTLESS hours into. The only AC one where I wanted to complete everything in the game.

I actually agree, it has the best parkour of the game once all the issue have been fixed. The character models also looked way better from the recent games which amazes honestly.

It is the best imo. Best setting, best parkour, a proper stealth system, the combat is weighty and responsive, biggest crowds and buildings. It's what AC always wanted to be.

My fav so far is Valhalla which I have 300 hours into.

Resident Evil 6 is also the best Resident Evil
