Come one, come all! Artscape Street Party: Circus returns to Artscape Wychwood Barns for an evening of high-flying circus acrobatics, fire dancing, stilt walking, carnival games, cotton candy and more. This free, family-friendly event drew more than 800 attendees last year and was so successful that we’re bringing it back for an encore!

From 5:00 to 9:00 pm, Artscape Street Party: Circus will feature pop-up performances by Zero Gravity Circus and The Circus Academy—imagine aerialists hanging from the rafters, jugglers hurling clubs through the air and stilt walkers weaving through the crowds with the greatest of ease. Watch as the ever-popular master inflator Johnnie Balloonie dazzles children and grown-ups alike with his balloon animal artistry and fire dancer SageBlaze spins circles of flame around the outdoor courtyard. Make your face a masterpiece with caricature portraits and face painting by visual artists Alma Roussy and Peter Gillett, who also have studios at the Barns, and get crafty at an arts and crafts booth hosted by Above Ground Art Supplies.

Grab dinner or snacks while you take in the show with circus-themed eats from Citizen Catering, Gourmet B1tches, Rose City Kitchen and Sugar Mamma’s Donuts and enjoy a refreshing beverage in the licensed beer garden. The bar will be featuring a Cotton Candy Cocktail: cotton candy-infused vodka with a splash of soda and lime, garnished with a strawberry twizzler. All food and drink is priced at $5 or less.
