It appears Chris Hogan is the newest member of the New England Patriots’ receiving corps, and that’s a good thing.

Take it from someone who has watched Hogan play every day.

Hogan signed an offer sheet with the Patriots on Friday, and the Buffalo Bills reportedly will not match it. Shortly before that news broke, Buffalo News NFL writer and SiriusXM NFL Radio host Vic Carucci joined NESN.com’s Michaela Vernava to break down how Hogan would sync up with the Patriots’ offense. In short: He likes what he sees.

“My understanding is that (Hogan) has been on their radar,” Carucci said. “They see him as a really good fit for what they do offensively, and looking at it from my end, I see probably a better fit for Chris Hogan in that New England offense than the one he’s been in in Buffalo.”

Hear more from Carucci on how he sees Hogan working with Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and coach Bill Belichick in the video above.
