The problem was buying. Got three products and received only two products. The shopping experience was very bad. I was unhappy to buy three pieces and get two.

I really like the flexibility this system provides
. Shooting E-TTL flash without using Canon's optical system is a godsend! I use a 60D, and prior to having the 622C's I could not access group C, just A and B. Now I have access to all 3 groups in E-TTL and manual. I also like the ability to use these in studio as dumb slaves.

My only issue with these remotes is the range. When I got the units, I set up two flashes in some bushes to do a nighttime real estate shot. It says "up to 100 meters", but I couldn't even get 75 feet! Now I know "up to" implies under ideal conditions, but I expected to get 2/3 the range using them line of sight, not 1/4 the range!

No other system can provide reliable E-TTL triggering at this price point. Just ensure your use case needs less than half their published range.

They hold true to the description. Simply take them out of the box, put batteries in them, put one on your camera, and one on your flash and they just work! And enjoy being able to control your speedlite's settings through your Camera's UI.

Note: make sure you push them all the way in. I didn't push them all the way in once and instantly starting getting banding at shutter speeds higher than 1/250s, but once I pushed it all the way in, I could go all the way to 1/4000s on my 6D.

They are IR triggers, they might not be quite as reliable as radio triggers in changing conditions, but I tested them out by going into separate rooms and the flashes still fired. So, would I recommend these to a friend? Yes.

These are awesome and helpful when learning flash photography but it is a pro-sumer level thing. I use these to controll 4 flashes for big church groups in cathedrals. But if you don't see yourself doing that and just want to start off camera work these are a little expensive bit in my view it helped me learn quickly as I could just adjust any flash of the camera.

When I received the triggers, they were in fantastic shape, however, two were in an unopened box, and the third was just placed on top of the box. It was already out of the box, bubble-wrapped, and shipped. Didn't think anything of it until i started testing them out a week later. Using my brand new Yongnuo YN-560 II and my Yongnuo YN 565 EX, I had odd issues with the hotshoes wanting to work, not wanting to trigger when I needed them, and odd things happening with the groups and channels I set them in. While I have found a way to rig them to work the way I want them to, they aren't able to work the way they are advertised.
While I'm not sure it is a fault of the seller that these seem to be defective, I will probably look for a different product from a different manufacturer (and most likely, seller) in the near future.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply fantastic
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on November 5, 2013
I like to shoot with my flash guns off camera, and for years have used a combination of off camera cords, optical triggers and very cheap radio triggers - with varying degrees of success. The cords mean I can make adjustments to my flash gun settings using the camera menu, but keep me tethered to one our other of my soft boxes (wherever I've set up the master flash), limiting my set up - and often resulting in falling lighting stands when I forget and move too far. Even in manual mode with cheap radio triggers, ripping the diffuser from my soft boxes to adjust the flash settings is a pain, so I've wanted a good set of TTL radio triggers for a while, but really couldn't justify the money for Pocket Wizards. Then I saw these. I have a number of Yongnuo flash guns, all of which are inexpensive and surprisingly good quality, so I thought they were worth a go. And they are!

The quality is good. I'm not sure they'd stand the rigours of a professional environment, but they are solid, with a metal foot, and a good finish, so more than good enough even for an enthusiastic amateur! They worked right out of the box and I have full control over multiple flash guns from the camera menu (A:B ratios in TTL or individual power levels in manual - so long as you have flash guns that support this, of course). They have fired every time, they have a wake up function if you stop shooting for a bit, and you can use the dof button to trigger a 1 second modelling light. The range is certainly good enough for a home studio (in the lounge...) and I suspect they'd be capable of a lot more, but I haven't yet had the opportunity to try this out. Certainly I was able to trigger a flash through the hall wall into the lounge, which bodes well.

So, overall, really pleased. They look good. They work well. And they're really good value. In due course I'll get some more.

5.0 out of 5 stars LOS MEJORES TRIGGERS QUE CONOZCO
Reviewed in Spain on August 4, 2014

5.0 out of 5 stars Glad I sold my pocketwizards, and that 30m cable
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on January 27, 2014
I regretted selling my pocketwizards a while back and replaced them with a 30 meter ETTL cable instead. I regretted that even more. What surprised my was how easy it was to get up and running with these new triggers. I've seen several recommendations on Flickr from other photographers who use off camera flash and these seemed to be the sensible choice, particularly on a budget. Build quality seems good and the buttons are easy to use to select the modes etc. The only thing that I could find as a negative was it can be too easy sometimes to press the channel or group button but you just have to be careful when using them. Great that they are transceivers too so if one fails you're not totally screwed.
